Working 5 days a week, 8 hrs a day, not very high rate, I'm satisfied with 1000£ per week, but I make less in some places (I'm working from hotels) then it can go down to 600-700 per week, but in more busy places it can go 2000+
I feel awful when I force myself to work more so I don't. Or if I find a cool show I will not see anyone until I binge it  :P I'm working just enough to afford one fun holiday a year and small house mortgage in a few years, that's all I want.

Aries if you don’t mind me asking. Do you book a hotel room for 5 days a week or do you book a room each day at different hotels?

I’m trying to work out the best way to work from hotels to maximise income.

I don't think there is perfect formula for it, you might think it's better and less trouble staying whole week somewhere (also less money spent on travel), but if the place happens to not be busy at the time, for whatever reason, there is no point hanging there whole week. Also I would never stay that long in a small hotel, I only do that sometimes in a very big ones, with big rotation of people, to avoid staff being nosey, housekeepers can be mean too. It just feels awkward for me personally. Usually I stay 2 days in small hotel, 3 days in bigger one. I tour all the time so check in and checkout days are my time off, I don't work then, so almost half of my earnings will go on hotel anyway, but I imagine that people who only tour from time to time will have different approach and work more on tour. I say try doing longer and shorter periods and see what works best for you
