Title: Would you see this client?

Had a phone call today from a guy wanting to book me for 2 hours for his mate as a birthday present. I got him to get the birthday boy to speak to me. He sounded fine. But I could hear his mates laughing and joking in the background. I told him he must come on his own. He assured me he would. It might all be harmless fun (it probably is) and I can easily see from my place if more than one person pitched up- but I still feel uneasy.
Any thoughts anyone?

I wouldn't, no. Too much danger of a wind up or him being a twat IMO.

Absolutely not, at least jokers at most a setup, robbery or worse.
You can see the street, how would that stop smart crims being well aware of that and working around it? As happens quite a bit.

As someone who won't even speak with anyone in the company of others when they call me, that'll be a no from me too.

Wouldn't touch this with a barge pole.

Wise words -thank you. I'm going to cancel. My day job (which I'm self employed with too) is dead at the minute and so is this. It would have been a nice chuck of money - but too many red flags going.

Good for you. Its better to sweat out slow times than take high risk appointments like this. To be honest even if it turned out fine I'd just feel disrespected by that type of call.

Judging by that call, I would say no, although I have been in a very similar situation before. A guy wanted to surprise his virgin best friend. He was very respectful on the phone so I agreed. We set him up. The unsuspecting virgin showed up to my in-call and said I have been asked to drop this to you (my hourly fee) by my bestie. Then I told him I was an escort and his birthday present from his kind, generous friend and I would be taking his virginity in the next few minutes. The look on his face, it was like something out of a movie lol he looked shocked, scared, excited, nervous all at the same time. I will never forget his face. The sex was awkward but he left happy  :angel:
