Would appreciate some advice about starting off
« on: 14 June 2014, 04:49:33 am »
Hi girls, new member with her first post here  :P

Some of you will probably see me as a wannabe working girl, that's pretty much how I see myself tbh. For the last 3.5 years I've been going to the local nightclub and at the end of the night, going home with anybody who has the money. I live in a fairly small town and the majority of everyone knows each other. Mostly everyone I know is aware of what I do and I believe that that reason alone is why I've always been able to make some extra cash on a weekend. I've never failed to get it when I've wanted it and I've always maintained a good reputation. Nearly all guys respect me, most girls aren't fazed by it and I've received very little trouble from what I do.

After nearly 4 years of doing this I'm seriously thinking of making the step up to being a pro. I think I have a little bit more experience than your average newbie, and I know a little bit of what to expect. I do have a few concerns tho... One of them is that I'm going to struggle to build up the clientele. I'm not signed up to AW as I haven't officially gone pro and wouldn't want to spend the money before making an ultimate decision. This means I'm struggling to check out who the alternatives to myself will be in the area. Not that having other WG's in my area bothers me, but if they're all so much prettier, or offering more services than myself I'd have to reconsider wether I'll get the work or not. In fact I'm not even sure of what services I'd like to offer as I don't know many services lol. All of my experiences have come as drunken fumbles at the end of the night. I have to be independent as I couldn't possibly work for an agency. I'd rather not explain why but that is 100% not an option :/

If anyone has any advice about my concerns above, or anything at all it would be so so much appreciated. I realise that this is a big scary world, full of dangers for a young girl, and I'm open for discussions with anyone :)

First port of call should be the Main Site, you will find the button along from the Home button.  Read that three or four times. Jot down anything you are puzzled or wonder about, put some words that are suitable for the queries into the Search box which will come up when you click on the Search button, one of which is located between the Home button and the Main site button.

Then if it's a new question, which is highly unlikely, ask it in the forum.  Try a few similar words in the search as someone may have used a different word from what you use due to location.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

You can sign upto AW and ukadultzone for free, there are other cheap advertising options out there, if you do a search on the forum you should find some :)

As for other girls being in your area, you really shouldn't worry.. I'm a biiig girl and not exactly an oil painting, but I get plenty of business usually, there will always be people out there who find you, your services, your rates or just generally how you present yourself appealing, so I wouldn't worry too much :)
..Some would say I am selling my body but I know I am selling so much more than that..

As lady said, reading this forum is very important, you will learn loads of things about becoming an escort.

Then go on aw and search the escorts in your city/area, you have an option there to insert your city.
Check their profiles, their like list and what  they charge, then if you want to become a wg, make a profile (its free), upload few new pictures (dont upload any of yur old pictures as friends and neighbours might see them and recognize you). You can make new pics with your phone/camera. Also upload few naughty pics in your private galery, it will help paying to display a phone number (the fee is 1 credit/day). Dont use your  personal number, buy a new sim and a new cheap phone for that.

Good luck

Welcome :)

You ARE a working girl, the moment you took money in exchange for sex you 'became' a prostitute :) The fact that you've been doing it for 4 years pretty much makes you a pro(fessional) at the game, it's just now you want to expand your clientele by advertising on the internet.

First thing to do is read, read and read again the main site: www.saafe.info then read as much of the forum posts as you can. Research what other ladies in your area charge, and start writing - offline in a doc or on piece of paper - your profile text. Think about how you want to convey yourself, and see how others do it, and try to let your personality come through your words.

Have fun and stay safe! :)

Thanks for that all of you.

Read...jot down...search...that's exactly the sort of work I try to avoid lol. But I never thought it was gonna be easy, I'll get right on it. Am I still allowed to clme back here for clarification, just to make sure I'm understanding skmething right?

And tbh, I've never once considered myself an escort/prozzie. I know that what I've been doing is technically sex got cash, but let's be real. I'd be in way over my head if thrown into one of your lives. I've been told it befor and I have to quite agree, all I've managed to be so far is a slag. I really want to work hard to turn that into a working girl, and I'm going to start right now by reading the forum :D

Being 'real' would start with accepting that exchanging sex for cash no matter in what circumstances, how often or who with, is prostitution - we don't all work the same way even on the forum, even though we all fall roughly into the same sex work demographic (that being indoor workers and mostly independents advertising online, with a few agency people too). Another good start would be avoiding words like 'slag'; it's judgemental nonsense and slut shaming isn't acceptable here even when it's directed at yourself.

The main site is here, and the forum Search box is up on the top right - you can type in things like 'screening', 'security', 'condoms', 'self employed' and all sorts of others. If there's something you can't find or don't understand, just ask :).

Oh I think that's true for most of us - Trying to juggle my family life and my personal life and my non-prozzie business/self employment and my cats who have to be hospitalised at the least convenient moments and my children who have started popping babies out (meaning I am usually on stand-by as a birthing partner and for babysitting/granny duties)...AND THEN trying to arrange norty liasons around all this chaos, I wouldn't wish this on anyone! ;D I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a mad life though, we're all sooo individual here :)

Not sure what you mean about being "a slag" though - You have been having sex for money for almost 4 years, so you are a prostitute. You're working the nightclubs, just as some of us work the hotels, or the streets, or the internet, or a combo of some/all. You said yourself that you "always maintained a good reputation", so there's no reason at all why you can't do that using advertising.

PS: AW is FREE to use. You don't need to spend anything to advertise on there.

Cash in exchange for money is a prozzie whether one wants to deny that or not is all the same. You seem to have the skills hence 4 years at this. One thing is to be confident in this game. Clients find confident ones more applealing. There will be diffent looks shapes and sizes in this advertising different. But the main thing to do is remain focused on enhancing your own business. Or 100%  is lost.  Then nothing can get in the way it works a treat.

Ok, thanks for the support and encouragement girls. I've still not made any official movements onwards becoming pro yet, but still been up to my weekend antics. I set out to do this earlier this week and my brain just sort of fizzled out. I'm not using this as an excuse but I do have a genuine disorder that makes just the idea of great loads of work make come to a halt and sort of purposely distract myself :/ as much as I didn't want it, would you girls suggest getting representation to do all of that for me?

As the girls said above, you don't need to make any "official" move to becoming a "pro" as you call it, for you  already are one and the only person you need to get to do to the work for you is YOU.

If you want to continue in the same vein but with a profile then you'll just have to get on with the work yourself.  The best person to sell you is you.

There is no cutting corners in this job and to do it properly is a harder job than many anticipate but that's the same with most worthwhile jobs.

Just get on with it and if it doesn't work out it doesn't work out but at least you'll know you have tried.  We can't have people holding our hands all the time.  saafe is here for us to help each other but help means assist with YOU doing the work.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

I'm sorry. I know it seems like I'm trying to make it easy for myself, which is actually what I'm doing, but I'm not as lazy as I'm coming across.
