Worrisome guy
« on: 01 February 2015, 10:15:46 pm »
A guy i reported on the warning and wasters section has contacted me again with  a new account, fake pictures, pretending we never met, never spoke, trying to get me to do an outcall at his house. This is the second time he has done this, normally he just texts me every now and again to ask to meet and i ignore him. I only ever refused to meet him because he asked so many questions before hand and i felt he was either a time waster or a bit obsessed maybe. Should i be worried? He doesn't class as a stalker or anything does he? I don't know.

Why would you change your opinion of him now ... His actions were unacceptable before and as far as I have read in your post they haven't change.

Why the change of heart? Why doubt yourself now?  Go with your first instincts, they are usually right?  It's not as if you are losing millions by not seeing him.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

Is it on AW?  If so, block him.  If he's calling you, block his number.  If he's emailling you, delete his messages without reading them.  I wouldn't be overly worried at this point, hopefully if you ignore him altogether he will finally get the message.

I reported a man to the police who I refused to see and then he showed up once pretending to be someone else and then tried to book pretending to be someone else. He has been charged with stalking. Due in court in Feb at the end of feb.

Don't worry Mi, I know it's a bit unsettling but I think getting the occasional bloke like this is par for the course when escorting, even though it can feel quite scary / overwhelming at the time. Although it's a nuisance and I would never want to minimise a situation where you felt worried, yes he sounds like annoying persistent timewaster rather than dangerous stalker to me.

Blocking and ignoring is exactly the right course of action - you're doing just the right thing.

And well done you - you spotted him. You knew it was him despite his silly attempts to name change and everything else. You now know you have the ability to see through this kind of person. If he tries it again you will know it's him again. Don't let him worry you, as you have the knowledge and skills to be aware of people like this and avoid them.

Mi, this is a worry and a hassle but I think blocking then just ignoring him will be the best thing. I dont know what it is about these guys who get obsessed but they're really looking to wind us up and get a reaction I think. If you ignore them long enough surely they must eventually give up.
