At the moment are way to many controls from the police to girls who advertise on Kinky. I use to work myself with it and i had to give it up because they come to check me way to much. Is it not alowed to work from your own house or a hotel. They told me that even with a licence i can not do incalls only outcalls. Right now i m working in a private house in Amsterdam and work is pretty well

That's crazy! I thought it was all legalised over there? So if you don't do outcalls you can only work in a window or in a brothel?

what do you mean a private house? do you rent it? or is it a place where girls come on a daily basis, the house people do all the advertising and answer calls and they a percentage of your earnings? i started like this as a newbie in london several years ago but the flats i worked took 50-60 of my earnings!! way too much.

Clean Lady, I think a private house is a brothel but I'm not sure what the cut would be etc. I emailed one to find out because a working holiday would be nice :)

The whole point is that it's like this because it's legalised. Legalisation (rather than decriminalisation, which is the repeal of prostitution-specific laws, and what most sex work campaigning groups are campaigning for) means state interference and regulation; in other words being told where, when, how we're allowed to work as well as forced to register our personal details in a way that other similar self employed people are not. Those are some of the many reasons why it's shit and also why its so important not to confuse the two.

If you Google 'privehuis', you should be able to find some brothel information :).

Oh, I see! God, why do they have to make it all so complicated? We're not exactly murderers! Thanks Amy :)

Exactly! I had the same in mind! a working holiday for a month or so but only if the cut is below 40%. Not willing to give 50% anymore like I did in London at the beginning

The private house is a brothel or an erotic masage salon. The rates are not to high but the one i m working in is very busy . The owner of the place take 40% per client  and you are alowed to ask for extra money when you offer more then what he pay for. All the services we offer in there are with protection. The only minus point is that we got long days from 13.00 to midnight or from 10.00 to 20.00

Another thing, if a girl comes for a working holiday of up to 1 month do these private houses allow us to live there? And can we find these places also in other cities not just Amsterdam?

Is there a market for erotic massage or is 'erotic massage salon' another name for a brothel like a 'massage parlour'
Thanks x
