Working in a hostess club in London
« on: 16 June 2015, 05:04:55 pm »
Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and to the industry. Therefore, I would like to start working in a hostess club in London to gain some experiences. Unfortunately, hostess clubs don't have websites and are not easy to find. Does anybody here know some clubs and could give me some advice about this topic? And what is your opinion about these kind of clubs?

Thank you very much in advance.
Ahnisa xx

Do you mean the clip-joints, where men are enticed in on the basis of a cheap drink / dance / chat, and end up being presented for a bill of ?250 a drink (including the fizzy squash they've bought for you as 'champagne')?

No, they don't have websites. Odd that.

Other ones are strip clubs, where you'll be paying a couple of hundred pounds or so a night and expected to make a profit yourself.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Thank you for the answer.

No, I am talking about serious hostess clubs where everything is clear and not a rip-off. For example in Paris or Copenhagen, businessmen can go into these clubs to drink champagne and to choose a girl who can join him to his hotel.
Do clubs like this exist in London as well?

In my experience in London hostess clubs are clip joints, I used to work in one but it was years ago and it's not operating now, easy enough money though if you can find one but Ian is correct they are a major scam as far as I know x

Thank you for the answer.

I did some research and found out about a few but they all seem to be closed down. I heard that there are still some real hostess clubs in London but because they don't have websites I am not able to find them.

I still hope that someone here can help me.
Many greetings

I'm guessing the lapdancing clubs replaced many of the hostess bars?
Performers can make their own arrangements on the side I believe.

There is a hostess bar in Covent Garden but the manager matches you with the clients.
In the way that a puppy breeder offers to a customer.
It is bizzare and I don't think it's what you are thinking of.

I heard that [removed] does something like this and years ago I went with a friend for a VIP disco night when I noticed the 'Champagne saga' involving very young girls and some rather cute City boys in their late '20s.  We preferred to leave as not mixing business with pleasure.  I guess anything is possible.

Try the [removed again - PLEASE keep names for PMs] club? A friend of mine said she went there with a client and they ended up leaving with one of the hostesses.

Most hostess work involves lap dancing in my experience, in clubs I worked in you alternate between dancing for the punters and chatting with the punters, chatting them up and flirting. All the clip joints I knew are long gone in London, Westminster council have seriously clamped down.

Your best bet if you're prepared to do so is audition for a stripper/dancer job and "Hostess" that way xxxxxxx

There's no need to ask for PMs - you can post your questions here. I don't know how many people will know much because it's not the way most of us work, but somebody might :).
