Hi,

I worked in Eastbourne last summer and was very busy, however when I moved to Brighton, the phone went dead...

I enjoyed my time in Eastbourne, but it's a small place and hotels are geared towards the older people who spend their retirement there, so unless you go to [Removed - PLEASE don't name hotels on the public board.] I found it ok to work from), you will stick out like a sore thumb, I only lasted a couple of weeks myself :D

Yes, I'd risk it for a biscuit, as I said, you know me.

I worked there most of last summer and rut up to Xmas.... I loved it but was a struggle towards the end of the year... Make the most of the summer months down there and then move on.

Advertising is really important down there, just adult work isn't enough.

Hotels can be difficult but serviced apartments are good.

Are u thinking about going on a permanent basis or just a long tour?

My apologies Amy, for some reason I thought this thread was in the touring tips section.

Friday ad is a good start. Pay for it to be I. The paper and online.

I also found calling up to place your add is better than placing it via the online option as there always seems to be problems when done that way
