London is very quiet at the moment Id try and put yourself in Essex or Surrey if you are able to

As I said before, I live and work in London so I honestly have no idea why you keep on insisting that it's quiet. I experience differently.
You are new to the industry, or at least your agency is. Starting one up in the middle of a recession was always going to be a difficult task, which may explain why you find it quiet in London.

As another London WG (I'm both indie and with an agency) I'm not finding things particularly quiet either. Just to add my vote to the survey. :)

Most of my work is for incalls, though, except maybe one agency outcall booking per week. I've only been working for a year and did at first (due to New Girl Syndrome) do lots of outcalls at first. I've settled into a more comfortable 'business model' now, though because I'm not fond of having to stay up all night waiting for an outcall booking, or getting no calls all week then having to do three on Friday, etc etc. It doesn't take long to gain enough experience of the industry and how you yourself fit within it, so it won't be long before you can get settled into a successful routine too. :)

Mine too - I worked in London for four days at the end of June (so not even a good time of the month payday-wise), and ended up turning down so much work that I've organised another visit at the beginning of August - thats starting to fill out nicely too (plus I want to go and see the outside films at Somerset House :)). I put my phone number on AW for the only time ever just to be on the safe side (in case I needed to make up the numbers), and ended up turning it off at seven pm on three of the days because I was knackered ;D.

I used to be outcall only when I was part time, but since I went full time and started doing incalls, I doubt I even get one a month (I live in a much smaller place than London!) I do wonder how many I would be getting if I still only did them - I daresay those who really wanted to see me would find a way, but I know I couldn't make much of a living out of it. I would see how it goes though - you wanted to 'top up' maybe advertise one 'incall day' a week and book a hotel?

Hullo! I'd say one outcall a week to a hotel if I am lucky! I actually see these as a real treat as the chance to get suited and booted and in a cab, and for the feeling of walking past the reception staff hiding a a wry smile inside and trying to look very serious and business-lady like :)

Likewise, I went through a phase where I did nothing BUT outcalls, but I most often do incalls about 90% of the time and arrange hotels for when an incall location was unavailable- I find a lot more interest in incalls is common.

This is partly because I won't do outcalls to residences and it is hotels only, meaning it is business men only visiting the city (As what man from London will get a hotel in London, when I am already in Zone 1:) )

Hi again everyone :)

I know it's been MONTHS since I started this topic, but I've come back to say many thanks so much for the advice and ideas. As yet I haven't even dipped my toe - I put the escort idea on the back burner to see how Xmas in my day job went; needless to say that escorting still seems to be my most viable option financially (short AND long-term), as well as having much better long-term prospects for my self employment (I've been SE since 2004), independence, and life plan.

Anyway, back on-topic... I'm thinking that I will probably advertise for outcalls to hotels short-term while I find my feet and get some confidence/bravery in the biz, with a view to adding in-calls when I can find a suitable room/flat (hopefully shared with or rented from another WG). I'm also going to go down the buddy route at first - while I have a security buddy in place already, I feel I need that little nudge from a "pro" ( ;) ) to get me through at least my first client.

Regular Outcalls *may* prove OK for me traffic-wise - where I live is within easy transport of central London, as well as most of south London and Surrey, much of Kent and Sussex (I can get to Brighton in less than an hour), and further. Of course I won't know for sure unless (until!) I try!

Again - thanks for your help and advice :)

I am about to start in London, mostly outcalls unfortunately, but I would like to ask: what would be the average of incalls per week instead for a BBW female (or post op ts) escort in London? especially one just starting out

Also if I wanted to offer incalls in hotels once a week are there hotels you would recommend, you know, safe and discreet in London?
thanks

I just had an ephiphany last week: incalls are definently more popular than out. I was on tour and didnt get a single iota of an outcall.

Which makes me realize I must have lost thousands of dollars during the past year or 2 I havent been able to offer incalls. Lawd have mercy. Atleast I'm able to now, for the moment anyhow   :P
