I always use the Beppy sponges (the wet ones always : easier to apply). I buy them on the website Stressnomore.co.uk, the delivery is always very fast.
 
When my period is heavy, I usually put 2 sponges inside at the same time, which is a good trick to prevent any blood from coming out because sometimes if your flow is fairly heavy, then only one sponge at a time is not enough and can cause some small leaks on the top of the condom or even on the bed sometimes (and obviously as we all know some clients are scared of period blood (lack of knowledge probably) and can lead to bad reactions

I've had my current period for over 10 days now, no clue why it's been so long but it's still just about enough to not allow me to work so I've been looking at sponges, you can buy them online but does anyone know anywhere in the UK that sells them in a shop so I can go get one today?

Also if not, which brand or online shops should I get one from? Any recommendations?

I buy beppy and another brand from amazon. I literally ran out of beppy and was still in my period so ordered a different brand (not as good) on amazon prime. It did come the next day fortunately

Another vote for Beppy wets.

Stock up when you can because all supplies seem to cum and go - so don't leave it to order until the week before you are on.

Even with Beppy, I take a bath before an appointment

Are these beppy sponges easy to take out? I had a incident many years ago where I used a normal sponge and it got stuck inside! I ended up having to go to A&E to get it removed and even then it took 3 different people to try and remove it so it has kind of put me off but I need to work this week and due on

Me too used one years ago would not come out had to go hospital. Doctors warned me never to use sponges for periods as dangerous. I ended up ill from it little bits can break off. Never used one since i just don't work when on periods plus i just also think hygiene reasons it's not for me to work plus bloated belly etc.

Scary isn't it! I was panicking thinking I had toxic shock syndrome. After that incident like you I just wouldn't work when it's that time of the month and probably for the same reasons too plus I'd be constantly paranoid wondering if I have leaked or worst of all smell like periods not to mention I can get super moody.

Tricky  knowing my look I will have a repeat of last time.
