Sponges don't seem to work for me anymore; it's as though my canal has doubled in width and a sponge no longer fits snuggly in. The blood still seems to come out past the sides.
I just take the time off now or do non-sex bookings only.

This is a new product, mentioned in a Grauniad article about new condoms: https:// flexfits. com/ They ship to the UK.

Tips to get beppy out
First of all try not to panic as that will make you tense up.
Get into the bath or shower and squat down.
Bear down with your pelvic muscles and at the same time reach up your vagina with your fingers.
If you don't feel the sponge, don't worry, this will take several goes until you can reach it.
Keep repeating the process of bearing down and reaching up until you can feel the sponge.
Once you can feel it, it's just a matter of time before you push it down far enough with your pelvic muscles to be able to grab it.

I did exactly this and managed to bring it down low enough to pinch and pull out.. Thankfully no embarrassing trips to the walk in centre this time!  ::)

Love this forum, so helpful! Xx

The ones I mentioned are much harder to get out , due to the shape but I find them a better fit

Those flexfits look to be the same as the Instead Softcup.

I've used those before- not great.  It holds everything, but a bump the wrong way and ALL of the contents are released.  If they had something absorbant inside, they'd be great.  Possibly a sponge plus soft cup for the ladies unable to use a sponge alone?

I've just received my Flex order and I'm really impressed with the quality of the product. I'm not too worried about leakage as I don't bleed very much, just enough so that it's obvious on the condom. It's very comfortable, I can't tell that I'm wearing it.

However I can feel it with my finger, it's very obvious that it's a foreign object, unlike the sponge. And I have really short fingers so if a client fingered me he'd definitely know it was there. I'm not sure how it will feel during sex. I'm planning to take bookings today and say fingering is not allowed and just see what happens during sex. If a client mentions it I'll say I've got a diaphragm in for extra contraception. (Funny how some clients are practically phobic about periods but are all for any form of contraception, yet when I'm on my period I'm not fertile! Silly beggars!)

If a client does mention it then I'll go back to Beppy but use these Flex ones when I'm not working.

I use two or three cotton pads for make up removing.
Roll them like a tampon and insert deep folded in U or V shape, lasts for one booking or more if thicker..
I use this method even when I do not work.. this keeps me fresh, no one spotted yet
(do not let fingers inside, but this rule is good for health anyway, nail scratches are always risky)

That's really not a good idea... That type of cotton wool is not meant for internal use and will leave fibres in your vagina.

I agree try fishing out small cotton pads that have been lodged in there

Just to report back on the Flexfit. I took two bookings which included penetration whilst wearing it. Neither client mentioned anything, however it was uncomfortable for me and I became concerned that the condom might rip on the firm rubber edge. Rather disappointing as they were marketed as "ideal for sex during your period" but significantly less comfy than a Beppy. I will stick to sponges for bookings and use the Flexfits when I'm not working.

Oh dear, my parcel is on the way after the thread few weeks ago. (I should have asked if youd ordered before me.) I'll give em a try but hard edges sound concerning as i have issues with sponges not going far enough,i did notice in the video it lpoked big and tough.. hmm may demo with some toys wearing condoms before work use

Sounds like you have a low cervix, like me. I can manage to squash the Beppy up far enough that it can't be felt during sex, but the Flex is a lot bigger. Very very comfortable for everyday wear though, and a lot easier to get out than a Beppy. I think it's a case of try it and see if you like it. I did try using a dildo on myself with one in and it felt okay but an actual cock it just didn't feel right and I was very conscious of it.

Does anyone get bookings despite your period? I'm on and I've made it very clear that I am on my profile and that I will still be working - I'm not going to try and restrict it with sponges etc... just wondering if anyone has any period sex with a client success stories? I know it's going to lower my prospects massively, but just one booking this week would be enough!
