I don't even think about periods anymore when working
Just use the softcup and a piece of ramer sponge from boots. I take both out every 2 hours and rinse clean and squeeze water out of sponge and pop back in.
Works wonders. My service is actually better during a period as I am unbelievably horny

Have tried using a softcup for the first time today. It's been okay, but it leaks a bit when I go to the toilet and still shows blood when the guy withdraws, so isn't perfect. I've been using black condoms to hide it, but they aren't ideal as I think they're very thick so the clients lose sensitivity.

I've used sponges a couple of times, but both times I've not been able to get it out so have had to go to walk-in clinics  Has anyone tried tying thread around them to pull them out with?

I use sea sponges when I'm on, they're great for a session and then remove.
I now get mine from HobbyCraft! They're a ?1 for 2 and once sterilised are the same as the expensive ones.

You mean like dental floss type thickness? I think anything else would be too intrusive and would definitely be noticeable to the client.

I have a low cervix and even so I've taken 20-30 minutes to get a beppy out at the end of the day's work. If you have a high cervix I think I'd stick with softcup and black condoms or just moving to oral/hr bookings only during your period.

Yeah that makes sense. I was thinking of just using a thread perhaps to tie around the sponge. But I do have a high cervix and also I have teeny hands lol, so getting sponges out was impossible. I think softcup/black condoms may be the way to go then, as I only really have one or two days of real bleeding and then it's super light after that. Don't want to risk getting a sponge stuck again.

Really good tip I wanted to share that actually works if you ever get a sponge stuck to save the numerous embarrassing visits to doctor or clinic just take ur shower head and remove it so it's just a pipe and put it inside u with the shower turned on hold it inside you for 20/30 seconds and the sponge with pop straight out I always suffer with this and this is actually works

This is a bit funny and it has never happened to me before.

I work through my period simply because it doesn't last long and is somehow light..... but when I am on and I work, I always insert cotton wool balls which has always worked for me. Never had a problem even getting them out and sometimes they fall out by themselves if I apply enough pressure or move around enough. My experience is that whatever gets stuck in me always comes out.
 I usually use one cotton wool balls at the time and rarely two. But yesterday morning, I inserted two and because they often get stuck together I can't recall if I pulled out one or two.
Now I called the local GUM clinic this morning to ask if something can be done to remove it if one is stuck ( which has never happened to me before) and I was told to attend the AE which I will tmrw because it can turn dangerous if left.

My question is: has this ever happened to you?  What have items have ever got stuck and now did it end for you?

Just done it and nothing came out. Fluid flows naturally from there as if nothing is stuck.....

Is this proof that nothing is there and that I did get both cotton wool balls out? ( never had anything stuck there before and it's been 24hours now)

I just can't bare attending AE knowing about their waiting time during which I could be earning some money 

Cotton wool also releases lots of fibres that could cause irritation. As others have said, it is not at all advisable to use it inside you.
