Have used Moon cups for years but never for shagging.  They sit far too low and should have a little nip cut to the right length to pull it out.  I find if they are pushed higher they leak so they have to be placed as low as possible.  Not sure how you could possibly work with them unless you offer some kind of virgin experience.

Had a long booking yesterday that I could not really cancel because of all the planning gone into it by the client not to mention expenses and my period started at Monsoon strength.  I ended up using several sponges.  Jaysus never again.  Was exhausting getting them all out hours after.  Pleased to say though mother and sponges are well...   ::)

OH NO?I definatley didnt mean work with them. I just saw them advertised online ages ago and they always struck me as a little odd. Having a tiny cup in your fanny. I wouldnt dare go out with one of them in I'm sure, what if it squeezed out and it all tipped over  :o :o

I use a moon cup and it is mostly fine. leaks no more then tampons and I have found that I get a lot less cramps now that I use them. It can be gross tho when you pull them out and you hear the blood splash on the toilet. That took some getting used to :P

I think it's hilarious that some men are shocked - SHOCKED!!!! - to find out that many prossies will work during their periods. If they can't tell, then what's the problem? And the assumption that we should reduce our income by up to 25% just because of something that can usually be successfully concealed is absurd.

That said, I take the pill without pause in order to avoid having periods. If there were to be any sort of spotting, I have those sponges that are sold on Amazon (they're sold as alternative tampons) and they work great.

when I'm on my period I always use sponge nothing  comfortable, it's horrible girls, but  works and careful with positions can be tricky to take out the sponge  ;D

I've had the same problem (implant playing up!) they put me on the pill so far its working well I've not a period so far even during the break. It takes a day or two to start working so you may have to use a sponge in the mean time

After having problems with irregular bleeds when changing pills I discovered some great sponges, just ?2.99 for 12-Tesco Beauty Cosmetic Sponges, use once then bin. Wet them wring out put as far in as you can but only if you know you can get them out again-Bare down and remove using two fingers, is a bit fidly but I find great and no leakages x

A tempting option can be the cheap one but when it's going to sit in your vagina for an hour or more it's ideal to use specially purchased sponges. Natural sponges have small fibres than can break off and cause infection, and cosmetic sponges are often bleached and contain nasty chemicals that could irritate such sensitive skin. Beppy sponges (available at the Harmony sex shops in London, Amazon or the Stress No More website) are the only specific tampon sponges I know of - it isn't worth chancing it with other options if it can be avoided I'd say.

is this Harmony shop open every day?

I'm pretty sure the Oxford Street one's open every day including Sundays although I've only ever been in the one on Walkers Court :).

Well it's closed now because it's nearly midnight :).

Walkers Court is in Soho just off Peter Street - if you don't know the area you're probably as well to check on Street View but the shop's easy enough to spot.
