Oh sorry to hear that Brazil. Maybe you can get some second and third opinions on how to tackle that combo? I stopped having cramps since starting hormone replacement and periods are more regular. Maybe just luck with the dosage. I used to delay the period too by taking extra pills for important weeks or jobs...then I thought it wasn't worth it and stick to my routine.

It's a peculiar thing but when I've got a period I'm guarenteed more bookings for full service, maybe tone of voice related? They always want to be extra close and finger deep in the vag on my period. But I distract them with a few tricks, low lights etc. I don't know if I'm pumping out clouds of  'come and get it hormones'. I never announce restricted services or shrink the menu.

Nah, those things only happen to me when I use Norethisterone!   ;D. They are fairly common side-effects, I believe.  (That said, I have, on occasion, inexplicably - but HAPPILY - escaped them!)

Thank god for menopause, dealing with this was such a nightmare, smh. I didn't read all 40 pages of this thread, but I'm sure you guys know about "ruby showers"?

I mean, it totally barfs me out (I'm a fine 1 to talk considering I do mother/son role plays, but to be fair I hate them, & price them so high it keeps clients from asking for them), but it's a thought🤷🏼‍♀️.

I saw it on someone's website once, obviously it's like golden or brown showers 🚿& would cater to a very specific crowd, but it'd be a great way to make hay while the sun ☀️shines, so to speak😆.

A tarpaulin would be required, haha.

Any alternatives to stopping a period other than the sponge? I have tried many times but can’t remove the sponge alone
Go to your GP and ask for Norithisterone..It's a pill that puts your period on hold for a few days xx

I can't imagine having a sex with a tampon in. If you really want to do penetrative bookings during your time of the month, surely a sponge is the way to go? I've always just taken a few days off.

Have any of you had vaginal intercourse during your period while wearing a tampon?

Any sex that I've had with a tampon in always pushed the tampon wayyy further up past my cervix so 1) rendered the tampon useless so just bled anyway, 2) meant I had to try to find and push/pull out the tampon afterwards.

I take the pill norethisterone 5mg
It’s a period delay pill and it’s brilliant for me
You can get it online . I get 60 tablets for generally around £20 -£25

Your supposed to take 3 a day but I generally take 1or 2 to make them last longer
It’s also helped massively with my mood I am no longer the bitch from Hell the week before my period is due

That's exactly what I do although you do have to be careful as recently when I've taken it for too long it's backfired and period tries to come anyway! This week I needed to earn my rent and other expenses as off from Saturday on holiday but I've had to stop the pills, which will now bring on a normal period, as was having breakthrough bleeding!

It's typical that whenever I'm on my period nearly everyone wants sex (I don't want to use sponge so have to restrict services) and when I'm not at least half aren't bothered about sex and going down there  :FF

I've always taken time off for my period but tried a sponge for the first time yesterday for my working day and it was great!
I'll def use sponges now, but if one of my working days falls on the 1st or 2nd day of my period, I'd just take the day off as I'm always really tender and my flow is super heavy.
Only thing was I reeeally didn't enjoy my boobs being touched because they are always sore during my time of the month.

I asked my first client, who is a lovely regular, whether he could feel anything up there and he confirmed he couldn't tell at all. I had no problems fishing the sponge out after which I was a bit anxious about in the beginning.

I'm right in thinking you throw away the sponge after one use, right? I was doing, anyway.

I haven't seen them there, but you can make hand crafted ones from cheap artificial wash sponges ....cut em up to shape.
I tried it a couple times.
I've also rammed tight wad of toilet tissue up there when I've been caught without tampons, works fine.

I would always discourage ladies from putting anything in their vagina unless it’s a cock, tampon or something that’s designed to go in like a vibrator.

I don’t think there are sponges specifically designed for menstruation.

I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.
