After a heavy period this month, I realised it clashed with a meeting. I rushed out to buy a pack of beppys (for the first time). Although I was a little apprehensive about it going unnoticed, it worked like a charm during the booking, even though it was quite an active one.
I skipped home delighted..
then I got home and couldn't find it.. :o

It was like a magician's hat, completely vanished.  :P
It took a long shower, and some douching to find the tip of it!

That aside, once it was safely retrieved, I'd definitely use them again, its just a shame that they're so expensive. Maybe the sponges are the way to go!

Really, couldn't find it?? I must admit I've never used a proper beppy sponge, but are they not quite big?
maybe that's the whole point of them lol, that they're inconspicuous, coz I've been using Ramen-baby sponges and you can
definitely feel them with your finger..
Really must invest in some proper beppy sponges!!!  :)

Me too, ramer sponges are amazing in an emergency when you can't get anything else, I switched to boots botanics sea sponges as they're meant to be more vagina-friendly but I feel more secure with Ramer sponges even if they can leave fibres inside me and clients might be able to feel them.
Can anyone compare Ramer sponges with beppys? Beppys are far more expensive but I don't want to continue using Ramer if they can be harmful?

Yeah, at first it looked a bit daunting, especially compared to a tampon, but you moisten it slightly, either with water or lube and once it's in you don't feel it :)
I don't normally work during my period, and if I do it's normally towards the end when I've pretty much stopped, so despite a lot of girls here mentioning them, it was a bit of a revelation when I tried it!

Yeah, same here, wasn't very confident with them at first, and I wouldn't use them if I was on my heaviest days,
but they're great for those last few days!!
I just kind of try and avoid fingering, but sex with them is no problem at all!! They didn't notice a thing!
(well I think they didn't  ;))
I've yet to try the proper beppy ones, but I'll definitely give them a go next month!  :)

I got my period this morning quite unexpectedly! I was so stressed because I had hotel booked for couple of next days and booking already lined up, but I used baby sponge and worked out perfectly. Luckily, because my periods are so heavy  :P

I've had the most rubbish week, haven't been able to accept one booking, as have been honest about having a period.  Since I had the contraceptive 3 month injection last week, I have now had a period for 8 days, and it shows no sign of abating!  I am not sure what to do now, whether to wait and see if it finishes over the weekend or get back to the clinic?  Anyone got any experience of this?  Thanks.

A period can last upto 10 days, if you are still bleeding heavily at 11 days make an appointment with your doctor. If it is light or spotting then it is a common side effect of the injection and you'll just have to wait it out.

I came very close to finishing for a few days due to my period. The sponge is awkward at times plus want to blob in peace lol.

I am on the pill and only have when finish the pack for three days. But you can take not having a break for your periods to become less of. Maybe a change in conception will alter your periods. It looks like it doesn't agree with your body.

Thank you both for that.

It was finally becoming lighter for the last few days and took a booking (repeat client) yesterday, thinking I would get away with it, then just before I was due to go, it suddenly got heavy again!  How unlucky.

At that point I had really had enough and rushed to the chemist to buy a sponge, and was amazed at how well it worked.  (Had a good laugh with my daughter, when I explained what I was doing with it.....the things you have to do for money!)

Anyway, thank goodness, I've finally started earning this week.  Have another booking today, so that's not too bad! ;D

I had a client and when finished notice a bit of blood, not sure if he noticed anything. Was few days early.
Another client later so used cotton inside as had nothing else.
Client did not notice anything, but I could not get thing out and did end up in hospital to remove it.

Got the sponge to be prepared next time and worked well. Next day went for dinner date with regular, when got back I
was heavily bleeding, which doesn't happen that often. The sponge did not work.
Was honest and explained, was very embarrassed and told him that, was happy to give him some money back, but he was very understanding and spent some time talking instead.

The sea sponge is really great, so next time I am planning to use it again if not bleeding too heavily.

Rather than cotton, if you ever get in a situation that urgent again use a baby wipe. I've done it a couple of times in the past and they do the job. A bit fiddly to get out but no hospital required.

The sponge is good for shorter bookings say 1 hr and 30 minutes as it cannot absorb much. I buy any sponge is just as good one was 99p. For some reason when on my period clients want lots of squirting. By passing the sponge is challenging, 😊

Before I was using progesterone pills to stop my periods I
plugged in 2 tampons sideways and they never noticed...

But when I was 'on' every man and his servant
wants to stick his fingers upside....

Is it pheromones or summat ???
