There is also Gynotex sponges which come in wet or dry.  these are designed specifically for period useage.  I find the dry ones a bit better than the wet ones but each to their own.  They are 5 for ?6.99 from most online chemists and you can also buy them in Lloyds chemists as well

After having problems with irregular bleeds when changing pills I discovered some great sponges, just ?2.99 for 12-Tesco Beauty Cosmetic Sponges, use once then bin. Wet them wring out put as far in as you can but only if you know you can get them out again-Bare down and remove using two fingers, is a bit fidly but I find great and no leakages x

and these are def safe to use up there?
xx

I would not think so as they re not made for this so may have fibres that will break off and rot inside you causing infections.  It is always safer to only use things inside your vagina that are meant to be inserted and left for there for periods of time.   After all it is going to be in for at least an hour isn't it?.
They may be cheap but have you ever left one in a warm glass of water for 20 minutes and then rubbed it?  Bearing in mind our Vags are warm and damp and the sponge will be rubbed by a cock. Little pieces tend to flake away.  Not something I would fancy happening inside of me.

I agree I want to be so careful with what to use so will try the beppys. I lost out on a regular 3 hour booking tonight due to a bit of bleeding thought id b up front with him as he loves going down so was bound to notice then he asked me if i would still see him at a reduced rate?

Didnt want to do that incase hes being cheeky and is actually a messy player  :P
What would you girls do?

I use a wet piece of sponge that is easy to come out even with little blood on it.

I only have experience maiding, although I'll be a wg soon. The girl I maided for had the injection in the top of her bum and that stopped periods. However, when she forgot one injection it made her periods really erratic and she had to take 3 weeks off. No way would I ever have that. Ibuprofen is supposed to make the bleeding lighter apparently? I would never, ever work through my period unless it was just doing hand relief/massage etc.

Tranexamic acid will stop bleeding. See your doctor, say youre erractic or painful/irregular and its affecting your day to day life. Its a prescription but you take it as and when bleeding starts x
