Just wondering whether working/touring where the Rugby is being held will bring in more work xx

I wonder too...I know that the saunas (in the places that they still exist) tend to get busier, but it's generally groups of guys going in.  If guys are out in groups I don't know how indies will do.

This week at Heathrow (next to Twickenham) has been a nightmare, hotels are full, rates are high, huge number of bookings but Calculated in the last few days 19 out of every 20 fully confirmed bookings I have taken has been a no show. I'm going somewhere away from it all until its over!!

Also worth noting all the roads around Twickenham stadium are closed for several hours each side of each match so don't book the Marriott!

I'm very close to Twickenham and as a rule match days are very quiet because locals (most my clients are local chaps) don't want to be caught up in the traffic or overloaded public transport so I haven't anticipated  the RWC will make any difference to me.  I also think most people come to the rugby with their family or mates so are busy being social and not sneaking off to see escorts.

If anyone remembers London during the Olympics- business was dire. All these big events do is put people off travelling.

Business died for me 3 days ago and I was wondering why. Now I know why  :FF

When is this rugby nightmare ending so I can pay my bills?  :(

I don't really follow sports. But rugby used to be in the winter
for a short season.

But I guess it depends on who sponsors them, the TV distribution deals,
the spin-off services and products the players are advertising etc.
...and if they've got 'Take That' in the ads.
Similar with football I think.

I've been in Twickenham this week and it's been super busy.
Noticed it's been going quite around 11pm instead of the the drunken ones coming out to play.
