I think I will be, I’ve not done it in the past though so no idea how it will be.

I worked NYE last year in Victoria and had loads of clients. Really enjoyed it. Even had An ambulance man who was on his break. Lots of interesting people and none of them were drunk which was surprising.

I’m thinking of doing it this year, not feeling in the mood to celebrate Christmas this year.

I worked last Xmas day and another a about 4 years ago. Both dead in my part of the world. But Xmas eve has usually been good! The time between Xmas and NYE is usually good but also touch and go. Overall, highly recommend working Xmas eve, wouldn’t bother with Xmas day. Just my opinion though.

No not Christmas Day. Cannot imagine to sit in the apartment/hotel/home waiting for my phone to ring whilst receiving messages from drunken punters wishing me merry Christmas. Only if I get really good $$$$ deal and deposit sits on my account no one makes me to show AT. Won’t be showing my number, will try to stay invisible on aw and my phone stays off.

Worked couple years ago and it was awful. Many many texts wishing me merry Christmas and no intention to book.

I take Xmas week off completely and sometimes the week before as dead for me normally. Around now I get a run of a few nice 90min-2hr jobs and a couple extended coke jobs 4hrs to overnight and I'm happy with that.

This thread goes alive only before Xmas. Anyone worked and can share experience?

I did xmas eve and it was manic. I mean totally crazy and I’ve made my 2 weeks budget in one day. Woke up next to client on Xmas day (overnighter) but kicked him out.
I was off on Xmas day but anyone worked and can tell how busy it was?

Once when I did on Xmas day was full of drunks and was the last time I said no more in my single days.

Traditionally, I think decent clients spend Christmas with their families.

I didn't have my mobile on but in the evening I completely forgot I had paid for Available Today on AW.

I did get 3 emails so yes it would have been busy by my standards.
