I'm already taking bookings for around Christmas from regulars making sure they can get in to see me!  ;D But no, I do not work on the 'special' days due to having a family and a partner. If my situation was different then I would consider it though. I did work a couple of days inbetween Xmas and NY last year but I hadn't actually planned to.

Very tempted to offer incalls this year. Would save me dying from overindulgence on the sofa like a beached whale lol!  ;D

l think there will be an increase of time wasters today being xmas day fuelled with alcohol. Has any one experienced this working on Christmas day?.

Thanks.

I've never actually worked on Christmas day but I have noticed it's very much like a weekend in that there are more last minute drunken enquiries. Have had some very slurry voicemails left on Christmas Day in the past, asking about my availability. Also had a guy I'd seen once previously try to persuade me to go visit him, despite the fact I had told him I had family coming over for a meal. When I said "No I'm not available" he acted as if I was being unreasonable and kept phoning and sending texts. I then did what I should have done in the first place which was turn the phone off and put it in a drawer.

Let us know how you get on today. :-*

Just checked phone. Lots missed calls at silly hours lol.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

Not working today.  My friend is though but she is only doing incalls so no extra charges.  Taxis charge a holiday supplement though I dont know what so if doing outcalls perhaps a little extra for tha

Today I had a few enquires, my phone has been so quiet today  I didn't even bother putting any make up on.  So will just chill out. This stay at the hotel was more about me than any one else. Hopfully tomorrow will get better but I think they're back working from thursday.

Switching my phone on this morning, I had 5 missed calls from the hours of 11pm-2pm.

I'm working today but I've raised my prices quite a bit. Although, it's very quiet so far with only one enquiry.  I'm not really expecting anything to be honest.  Anything will be a bonus as I'm only pottering around at home and stuffing my face anyway  ;D

I know you are not doing much today but raising your prices by "quite a bit" may be the reason you are not getting many enquiries.  I think we had a discussion about this last year and most said they were keeping prices the same.  (I dont work on either day so just passing on the info) but if you want to make something might be worth reconsidering.

I know what you mean Clarabella.  I always like weekends to myself and if guys question why I always take it off my reply is  "well if you are working on a Saturday you would expect time and a half or for Sunday double time" .... would you like to pay me time and a half or double time for my services. Of course they wouldnt.  They are usually dumbfounded and cant answer.

Have a good day whatever you do.
