You ladies that have worked successfully over Christmas before do you offer outcalls or incalls please?  :)

I only normally offer outcalls but wondered if it was worth getting a hotel.

I only normally offer outcalls but wondered if it was worth getting a hotel.

The thing to remember about Xmas is that most public transport shuts down for 2 days, so if you don?t have a car outcalls would be very expensive (high taxi fares).

As to incalls, in 7 years I have not had big interest in incalls (which I normally do), except for the odd client who did not celebrate Xmas

(I?m talking about Xmas and Boxing Day here) I found Xmas Eve to be zillions of TWs unless it was an advance booking, and generally the whole period (say 23-28) to be very quiet.

But others may have had different experiences.

Edit: Sorry only just noticed you asked for advice from those who?d worked successfully over the period!

I do drive SS I don't live in a big city. I'm near Cardiff but not in it, plus their public transport is pretty shit most of the time anyway especially holiday time.

I'm thinking about asking for deposits too which I don't normally. I just feel that the TW's will drive me nuts more than any other time of the year!

Yes that might be an idea.  I can tell you that the TWs multiply like flies over this period!!

Wow, great customer service there! :D

I'm doing incalls on Boxing Day onwards. I'm just going to screen very carefully and make them jump through hoops.

So this is my first christmas working properly. Just curious what it is like the whole month of December and even January?

Like I can imagine it being really dead a couple of weeks before christmas or after? Be grateful for any past experience in these upcoming weeks please. I am tempted to work christmas eve evening and even christmas day evening (only incalls)

on a simliar note, it has been crazy dead today (hasnt it just been payday?? :( ) even paid the I am free today thing on AW. just timewasters and possible bookings for other days  :FF

Really?? is this true?

So you cant write at the bottom/top of profile something like:

"Merry christmas, I am working (then put the days and certain times) Will only accept bookings on the day and with a few hours notice"   ??? ???

No you cannot put that.

What you might be able to put would be contact me for my Christmas period working hours?

According to AW's published rules, you cannot write anything about your availability in your summary - the headline of your profile.

You should be able to write in the main body of your profile that you are working over Xmas.

You should be able to write in the main body of your profile that you are working over Xmas.

This is the ongoing debate isn't it, that's how I read it too. It states you can't put availability details in the summary which is just the title. You then should in theory be able to put what you like (within t's and c's) in the main part. I've seen profiles with availability dates, times and all sorts in the main part of the profile page and if you take it word for word it's all right to do that.

I always avoid the word available although I've seen others use it. I have put dates on my profile if I'm somewhere else in the near future. It just makes sense. I'm going to work over Xmas so I do want to mention it, I guess most guys would expect lots of girls not to work at this time of year.

Let's hope there is plenty of business!  :D
