See email received from him, I connected to face book and linked in neither that convincing, next to no activity on facebook page with picture of absolutely gorgeous guy !! Website domain registration gives same name and address landline etc but no way of knowing if genuine there goes my trip to Goa !!!!!!

Considering that it's just a copy+paste template email, it might even be one of those "Nigerian prince scams", e.g. he'll say he wants to send you looooads of money in advance for a really massive long booking, but then he'll say you just need to put ?100(0?) in an account for some silly reason, and then obviously he'll take your money and disappear.

I would bet that amount right now that this is a scam and there is no genuine booking or client here. After all, why pay a bajillion quid to fly out some random bird from the UK when - if he's really in Mumbai - he could just pop out and hire a beautiful lady from somewhere rather more nearby for rather a lot less cash. You don't get British blokes paying foreign women to come over here, do you?

In summary: if it sounds like it's from Belle de Jour's grandest fantasies, then it probably is!

If I were you I would just follow the joke to see were it leads and were exactly the scam starts. Then you can post it here. We can all have a laugh AND warn newbies.

I get something similar they keep wanting to take me on an all inclusive paid trip to South Africa to acompany a business trip.  I just ignore them sounds too dodgy to me I have had 3 or 4 in the last few years which says to me SCAM.  When I go to SA I will go under my own steam thank you to my own agenda!

In regards to the Goa situation - Goa is my second home and there is so much corruption and scamming going on over there it is untrue, even the politicians are currupt!!  It has also become the Indian equivelent to Blackpool in the last 2 years and westerners are fast disappearing to remote parts as large groups of young Indian Males take over.  There are also a few parlours popping up now as well which surprised me. 

Any advice or info wanted on Goa I am your lady!

I had this one and was a little bored so decided to play along.  Then we get to the bit where I will need a visa which has to be bought through this visa company he has sent me the link for (fake company although looks very real).  I happily explained that instead of me sending ?490 for a visa, if I need one I will just apply at the embassy here.  He then sent a really nice grovelling email explaining how it would cost me far too much to do it that way and would take too long so I looked it up and sent him the details that it is only ?66 for a 6month visa and is normally back within a week.  Thats when I got the fuck off you fat whore emails    By then I had had enough so just blocked him  (check his ip address he is in Nigeria not India and the phone number is one used for this type of con and is just diverted to his mobile number).

Funnily enough Ana I was reading an article in the Metro last night saying exactly that, that as long as there are gullible people out there the Nigerian tricksters will keep on.  Shocking but true.  Well it seems he has been exposed for the low life he is anyway by Danielle so good work for that!

If they tell you that you need a visa the simplist way to nip it in the bud is to tell them you have one.  The costs they tell you are daft my visa costs about ?80.00 for a 6 month visitors visa.  They must think we are somewhat stupid!!!!  I hate people who rip others off, I probably speak for most others on here I work damn hard for my money then you get idiots trying to scam you it really gets my back up!
