Wishlist help
« on: 26 July 2010, 02:07:17 pm »
I have been getting a few query emails from a gentleman on AW and he seems very eager to make an appointment once I'm offering my services again (darn period getting in my way). He has good feedback and his mails are very polite. With any luck he'll be my first client (so excited). The thing is, he's just bought me a toy off of my wishlist and I'm unsure what people do when this occurs. Do I send him pictures of me using the toy or just say thankyou? I have no problem getting photos taken (my ex is always happy to do it as we usually end up in bed after  ;D) but I'm unsure how to approach the subject with the gentleman. As he does seem very eager to meet me and he hasn't tried to push me to meet earlier than I'm able I don't want to offend him.

Quick email to say thanks is sufficient.

Always interesting to get something off the wishlist or a gift. Had some lube through the post as a gift.  Don't know what they were trying to tell me!

How sweet!

I think sending him a picture would be a nice idea. Especially if he sees you for more than one hour. Ask him how he would feel about a picture during the meeting. If he thinks it's a great idea, send it to him. You may have a really good regular on your hands, which would make for a really nice FR. It's always marketing.

No I wouldn't send a picture.  Not all guys like that kind of thing.  Just an email to say thanks and I would take it with you when you do meet him. x

Interesting, this whole wish list concept. I haven't got one,  I felt a bit uncomfortable listing things I like..it made me feel like a little girl asking Santa for my presents! Another reason I haven't got one is I didn't want to give AW my address. I am intrigued though..has anyone else had much success with this and if so what the best present you have had?

I did feel a little weird at first about putting a wishlist up as I didn't want people to think I was just after free stuff, but after thinking about it I reasoned that I wasn't forcing anyone to buy anything, nor will I be pointing my wishlist out unless a client really wants to get me something. Mostly my wishlist is made up of costumes or underwear sets so that if a client would like to see me in anything specific they have the option of purchasing the exact item they're looking for. The toys were just there for an added extra.

I've been looking at the other ways to add income on AW in addition to offering escort services, I have that JustCamIt thing set up and sms. I did think about videos but I'm not sure what people expect to see in those so a little bit more research will be needed before I attempt it.

I am also in the process of looking for a part time job. To be honest, the sooner I can get off benefits and support myself financially the better. I was thinking that if I could get a part time job then I could escort in the evenings (bar when I'm at college) until I am in a position to escort full time.

Does anyone on here use the marketplace to sell things? What kinds of things do you sell and do you find much of a demand for said items?

As always, thankyou for all of the replies  :)

Don't you cash your credits in? Lordy you must build up a stack and have to spend it.

I only put one up as one of my cammers asked me to so that he could send me something.  I got a basque with a B cup,(- im a GG), but when I queried, he said he knew that, just wanted to see my boobs perch on the top!

No Pan, I am saving them up for a rainy day, but I feel a shower coming on. When I need the cheque I will get them to send it to a P/O box addy. Paranoid, moi? Well, yes. The site is being hacked from left right and centre as far as I can gather.

A quick reminder that Royal Mail PO Boxes are not a way of concealing your 'real' address. If you ask for the address connected with a PO Box, you should be given it unless it's in a very small category (security services, women's refuges etc).

I didn't know that, I assumed it would work on a annual fee  and be completely anonymous. Can you suggest any alternatives please?

Plus 10p per item if you collect it / 12p+postage if they send it on to you. It's quite annoying: if it's low use, you end up paying tens of pounds per letter, but high use is expensive in absolute terms.

If anyone wants to share one (naughty according their T&C, but..) do let me know.
