Will January be that bad?
« on: 21 November 2016, 07:23:39 pm »
Hello, I posted this question in another thread but I'd thought I'd ask it here. I'm not able to
Get a solid incall flat for December, but I'm doing ok and along with some other money I'm getting should be able to sort a work flat for Jan. But is it really worth it? I've read that there is hardly any work in Jan/feb

I planned to take last January off but my phone was ringing off the hook so binned that idea, I made a mint, like Helen said it's all impossible to predict.

I had a very busy last January and I'm having a total SHIT December.

Things seem unpredictable lately. I believe it's a mixture of Brexit, Trump, devaluation of the pound and huge inestability of the markets.

I agree. You could have two people working two streets from each other offering similar services and charging similar rates, and one will be busy/the other not. Then the following month it'll be the other way round.

Don't try to predict anything based on hearsay and speculation - concentrate on making good, appealing ads and pictures and building up regulars with good service (at least if you want regulars). You're not the same as anybody else and just because Flossie down the road is quiet (or busy)  doesn't mean you will be :).

I was so worried about january-february last year but january turned out to be my best month on record in 3 years!! You never can tell.. Feb was rubbish when everyone gets their credit card bills though.. I think you just need to time and place yourself right (for example i rarely work in central london as i live there but over christmas and january when the weather is bad i always stay in the city on working days and the west end on weekends/bank hols. - bear in mind that bc xmas day falls on a sunday this year mon and Tuesday after will be bank holidays. Extra benefit to working late december in to january is that many hotels  dramatically drop their prices.. Hilton and IHG are already doing it for bookings on december and jan so im getting booked up! Hilton especially has MUCH lower rates in their sale than usual..)

Saying that.. As other ladies have said it totally depends on the girl.. Theres no logic to it its just hit and miss

The year before i did january out of london in maidenhead Bracknell and Reading and it was a disaster bc of bad weather meaning clients weren't prepeared to drive xx

I agree I always work boxing day through to New Years eve and make a killing. So many escorts especially the foreign Escorts go back home for Xmas & new year and other escorts have children off school or visiting family so can't work  so I have always been exceptionally busy during this period .
And yes to what Miss Bently mentioned hotels are normally the cheapest the week before Xmas boxing day to 30th and new the first two week in jan
I have got my favourite hotel for ?289 for 6 nights free cancellation for the first week in jan at the moment its ?330 for three nights  I often the New Years day socially when this year there is two bank holidays are very busy as lots of people are off work and are still in the spending money mode

I'm working Boxing Day to the 30Th for 5 nights and the hotel is normally around ?650 for 5 nights ( not that I would pay this amount )  but I got it for 325 free cancellation this is a IHG hotel last year I mamaged tore book the night before and got It for 260 for 5 nights

London is another place where the first two weeks in jan the prices are exceptionally low
I booked all my hotels back in September for dec /jan but keep checking the prices in case they drop again

Thanks for all the great advice girls! I'm a lot less worried now. I've booked some hotels for Jan as I found some great deals. I'm going work between Boxing Day and NY now! As I'm going home for NY instead of Xmas.
