Your website looks good to me. My comment is that your review is valuable. Rather than just having a bit on the rates page (which doesn't make sense and is easy to miss), I think you should create a separate page for them. Since you only have one at the moment you can pad it out with something about where clients can leave reviews if they want, or some quotes from thankyou emails if you have some and get permission.
I agree that getting a domain is worth it, and if you're only listed on punterlink you should get on many more sites (after you get your domain). Have a look at my site, there are a lot of good free directories on the front page.
Incalls would get you more business, but you can certainly get the amount of work you want from outcalls. Something that worked for me was booking a place (hotel or holiday flat) for a few days where people could visit me. I set up a mailing list on yahoogroups and told people to join it if they were interested, then when I was ready hundreds of punters would get the message. When I was studying I did it after lectures had finished but before school holidays started. I know it sounds like you'd need to concentrate your bookings too much, but they get easier when you're a bit more experienced, as well as when you don't need to travel. I found that working harder for a short time and then talking a couple of days off was worth it.
Finally, the reduction in interest isn't your fault. This is the time of year when people get more frugal as they start paying for christmas, and it can only be worse this year.
