I'm often asked if I have Whatsapp by clients.
I know that Whatsapp means you don't have to use text allowance, but nearly every plan is unlimited these days, anyway. Or else has very generous allowances - it doesn't take that many texts to arrange a booking!
Those of you who use Whatsapp... are they just looking to send dick pics and ask to see your face? Do legit clients want it?

People that try contacting me on Whatsapp i just ignore or even block them so they go away or are forced to call the normal way. I find first contact with whatsapp 90% of them are not genuine and cheapskates.
Had a guy with a face pic try to video call me i declined the call he started to type a message and i just blocked him ;D

They usually timewasters ,complete morons trying to send you “dick” pic
And also trying Video calling but I’ve turned off the setting to videocalls or voicecall

I think the answer here is 'because it's free'. They can chat, video call, send as many dick pics as they like for nothing...therefore it seems to attract the types most of us don't want to talk to, free or otherwise.

Yeah - I generally lie and say that my work phone is a basic Nokia if they urge me to do whatsapp/snapchat/etc.
I really can't see any benefit to us to using it, at least in this country.
And that green double-tick that verifies I've read it?! NO THANKS! Sometimes I want to ignore a message either for a short while or permanently. I understand that you can turn the green tick off, however.

The most annoying thing i say is no texts but so many still do it they are lazy or rude or both.

Because they want Facebook to know they've been communicating with prostitutes?
Plain SMS texts allow delivery notifications, so they can be sure it has arrived. WTFApp allows them to stalk you and know you've read it.
WTFApp allows the opportunity for video chat and you might want to give them free wanking material via one.

The only thing i like using WhatsApp for if they need to send me a screen shot of proof of address for outcall or if i am not sure of someine turn down booking over safety a few offered to send driving licence copy over to show me there no threat but apart from that i do not want no stalkers glued to it checking if online or if read there message.
I like blocking the video callers though that is funny.

Yes WhatsApp can be great for media however still not compatible with work phone, so it's SMS (MMS), or email with me.

I received "face pic please darling? " yesterday when I was about jump in the shower. Luckily my OH was having a dump at the same time. He stood up for me so I send back a pic of his unwipped hairy behind. Saw the 2 blue ticks and giggled. He never replied ;)

The "double tick" appears on my truecaller app, both ticks seem to appear almost immediately. Am never sure if they have actually read it immediately or it has just been sent and delivered🤔
I get proof of address or ID via text photo or email.

WhatsApp has a lot of time wasters, in Spain less, say 60% time wasters, but when I tour in the UK 90% time wasters. Always the same pattern, questions, request for photos, services, will I do long booking (which never materialise). I suspect basically I'm providing an unpaid for premium sex call line, so I generally block them quite quickly.

It's very attractive to married clients because while SMS and phone calls will show up on the mobile bill, WA chats won't.
I have only arranged bookings via WA a few times, and that's been when the phone signal has been crap so it's the best way to get through. I do a lot of video chat via WA, it's a lot more reliable than Skype. It's one-click to block someone so any dick pics or wannabe penpals just go into the killfile.

As others said it's just a waybof trying to get free pics out of you plus you will be inundated with dick pics every few minutes. Went to sleep one n8ght woke up with 10 dick pics!! Got rid of it after a week. Only time wasters seem to use it

Anyone ‘pretending’ to be the girl in the profile would likely back up there lie with a co ordinated matching fake pic on their whatsap display pic ??? Had he not thought of that one LOL
I usually just reply sorry no whatsapp attracts time wasters or is only for regulars
That guy is a dick. I don't display my image of me whatsapp just a - time is money picture or some flowers as whatsapp pic.
I like whatsapp, yeah there be timewasters and dick heads just block don't respond same as video calling reject block.
You get to see if a person has whatsapp when saved number and see their image which some are stupid to have which you can save quickly in case he turns out to be a terrible bad person.
Also makes it easier to communicate with such clients that do not have a uk number international business men for outcall meets.

In what way do you get bookings that you wouldn't have otherwise got?
Because some clients don’t want even text message or phone number appearing on their phone bill so watsapp is perfect for that as it pretty non traceable they can add it to the phone & book you
see you and then delete watsapp or any calls / messages
There is no trace if they share an online bill with partners with watsapp
And it’s great for when abroad working

Was just having a nice convo with a new client on AW and gave them my number to make arrangements. One sentence later he asked me for Whatsapp and I said no for obvious reasons. He said he will find another girl like I would acutally be bothered. Blocked! ::) CBA with that.lol

I asked one of my clients who uses WhatsApp only, why?
He said it allowed him to set up a WhatsApp with a pay as you go mobile, and he's registered the number with WhatsApp and uses Wifi for the messaging, he then only tops the pay as you go sim but about once a year with a £10 to save money.

It would mean upgrading my mobile to a more up to date model. I get enough work without this so is it really worth the added expense??
I need to pay a photographer as it is so that odds on will be £200 this year. Enough to fork out as I prefer low volume.I

I don't use what's app, trying to avoid their ability to send pics.
Never had any resistance when I say it's text only.

Although my work phone has the ability to accept the app, I will not have WhatsApp on my advertised number. I do have it on a dedicated WA webcam phone, only for use for paid WhatsApp sessions.
My experience is that many who ask for WA regards an Escort booking simply want the ability to share photos without cost. There Also seems to be a belief that use of WA somehow makes a person more credible. I don't want people randomly video calling, and when I am in a paid WA session don't want alerts coming through.
Also I want my work phone to only have the absolute minimum apps, so I can answer enquiries as quickly as possible without having to open things up or get in the way of answering phone calls (I find it's difficult to pick up phone calls she I have other apps open).

I've been asked a handful of times, but not enough for it to really register. I don't use it at all for anything; I get unlimited free texts so I don't need it, and anything owned by facebook isn't welcome on my phones.
Do you have something in your ad text that might make them think you would send them pictures or something LB? It seems odd if you're getting it a lot.

One of the benefits of using whatsapp is if you are on a PAYG it won’t cost just connect to Wi-Fi

The reason I get asked a lot is because I am in my fifties so it attracts those in their 30s. I am not keen on that age group however as they are often too immature and many timewasters.
Good to hear that WhatsApp is not essential.
It just gives us more crap to do to be honest.

No, that isn't the reason. I'm fifty, the vast majority of my clients are of youngish working age because of my location, and I can count the number of times I've been asked on one hand. Maybe it's just popular where you are?

I'm happy to accept enquiries via Whatsapp and I don't think it brings many more TW than regular texting. I do get sent unsolicited dick pics with depressing regularity but as I have my settings on "don't automatically download media" I just reply with "It's £5 if you want me to download your pic, £20 if you'd like my opinion and a rating out of 10. How would you like to pay?"
(Nobody ever has, and I expect they never will, but I adopted this after getting into Onlyfans - dick ratings are a big moneyspinner there.)
The main benefit to me of having whatsapp open is I can use it to communicate with guys who are in town on business and don't have a UK number. So I don't get charged for international calls/texts with them.

it is used everywhere for every service. it is not just because they can ask pics IMO
not in uk bhut in other countries is largely used for everything. you can whatapps grocery store and pharmacy, doctors whatever.

I actually had one genuine guy via WhatsApp yesterday. He said he didn’t want the text or call showing on his bill. He actually showed and was really nice. Having said that l always only look at WhatsApp last.

I use WhatsApp to promote outcalls, vid calls and custom vids via my status as well and I get a few bites so its not too bad. If guys have me added and don't want to see the status they can always use the option to not receive it for discretion. Its useful also if they have outfit requests they can just send over the image as I cant remember half the pictures I have up so when they say 'the red one' I'm like just screenshot and send please ::) I guess you can still do this via message too but either way its sometimes an easier way for me to communicate.
As long as I can still screen them I don't mind how I am contacted really :D

Whatsapp I use it so I can have the client send me a screengrab of my cab details booking before I even get ready. You can get some idiots but most times good clients also message via whatsapp plus those international numbers irish numbers and american numbers Whatsapp is handy to communicate.

It can be useful if they can't find you for live location / on cam looking for the place

The ones who try to do video call or requests for pictures despite advert stating you don't provide it. Instant block and save as whatever name you save timewasters as. Thats what I do. When a call comes in through whatsapp it is video I reject the call instantly block and save. No harm done.
Those who send dick pictures instant block. Before I used to let these fools waste my energy but not anymore.

I find people looking for WhatsApp are more inclined to take up more of your time trying to chat as opposed to getting straight to the point and making a booking. I had it on my ads that I reject all comms via WhatsApp and people would still use it so they get blocked. They contact how I ask or not at all.

I prefer not to accept Whatsapp (though my phone has it) because for some reason, I definitely don't accept it from people I don't know, it's even in my ad so when anyone sends me Whatsapp I feel free to delete it. Made my life a lot easier because I have only ever had jokers or hideous clients who used to use whatsapp. I know it's not logical but that's just my experience.

I was also initially put off WhatsApp because I heard the encryption makes it more difficult for police to access information should a crime be committed. I seem to remember this was backed up by a member here being contacted by the police regards a punter she had as a client went missing, they had found he had contracted her, but could not break the encryption to obtain a location fix. Going off the recent coverage of the missing woman in the Blackpool area, sounds as if the police can now obtain whatever they need from WA if they need to.
I speak as someone who's armed robber was found only as a result of data from calls, texts, mobile signal.

I hate whatsapp and I've never, ever a genuine client from it. From my experience they're all timewasters.
I've just recently had a civvy guy in his 40's try to whatsapp me when I gave him my personal number. I gave him my number to text, not to whatsapp ::) I don't have a pic or anything on it. He came across as very accusatory and suspicious when he found out, so I cut our contact off. And this reaction from him was in my private life.
I can't get why some d*cks can't get their heads around why some people don't have their entire lives online. It's so sad and pathetic.

My personal phone has WhatsApp which I use for family etc. but my work phone belongs in a museum so only calls and texts on there. I occasionally get asked about communicating on W. but my polite reply stops that line of convo with no problems.

I have had a few decent bookings via WhatsApp. It also comes in handy if the guy has an international number. When l work in Northern Ireland close to the border there are many calls from Irish number and l move all of them over to WhatsApp because l can’t text them free of charge.

I don't mind using WhatsApp with my regular guys but I've had some unknown people try video call me which I'm not comfortable with at all so I block automatically. All numbers are checked before I reply too [off topic removed]
