People that try contacting me on Whatsapp i just ignore or even block them so they go away or are forced to call the normal way. I find first contact with whatsapp 90% of them are not genuine and cheapskates.

I think the answer here is 'because it's free'. They can chat, video call, send as many dick pics as they like for nothing...therefore it seems to attract the types most of us don't want to talk to, free or otherwise.

Yeah, I think it's because it's free, and they think you'll send/receive more pics. I tell them truthfully that I deliberately use a dumb phone for whoring...

Yeah - I generally lie and say that my work phone is a basic Nokia if they urge me to do whatsapp/snapchat/etc.

I really can't see any benefit to us to using it, at least in this country.

Plain SMS texts allow delivery notifications, so they can be sure it has arrived. WTFApp allows them to stalk you and know you've read it.
