Well for me personaly I like to be able to keep in contact with the client I mean what if u had to at the last minute cancel how would u let them know? Plus the ones who withheld there number are usualy time wasters.

Not answering calls from withheld numbers is also so common a practice amongst experienced escorts that any sensible client knows not to bother making them. That leaves those who have no clue and the ones who are not sensible.

If you do want to answer them at any point, you can just say 'Please call back from a number that's not withheld' and hang up.

I always answer my phone regardless of who is calling, but as some of already said, many of those that call on withheld numbers are idiots / time wasters.

For me, I go to work for a set number of hours, to answer a withheld number deals with it and stops them continually calling you, I take a booking from guys on withheld numbers but will not give out my room number should they turn up, most of them do not, should they then they have to either unblock the number or call from  alocal payphone.

A booking on a withheld number is not a confirmed booking.

I did have a perfectly normal client call from an unblocked number and then when he arrived he called from a blocked number. There was confusion when I didn't answer. I finally answered because I didn't want this blocked number to interfere with the expected client calling, as he was due any minute. To my surprise it was him. He seemed to not know that his number was blocked. I assume some confusion with his phone was the reason. There was certainly no reason for him to have blocked his number at that point in the proceedings. Anyway, that worked out.

I could answer the phone and say "Hello. I can't talk to you unless you call from an unblocked number" but it will just mean an argument. Can't be arsed.

Those five calls from blocked numbers were very likely from the same person. I wouldn't worry about missing work.

For me its this simple..if he won't trust me with his phone number then I have to question wether I can trust him with my address and my body. Trust is a two way thing, if he can't trust me then I won't trust him.

Of course I do answer the withheld number. I just dont give out any details or take a booking and ask them to call back without withholding their number. If they push me to answer questions I just say "sure, call back without withholding your number and I shall answer them". If they are serious they will call back, if they dont then as far as Im concerned they were just a "mr details". All my details are available wherever they got my number from online in the first place x

I had a guy phone me asking questions  using a withheld number almost every week for 2 years until I got a withheld blocker. Every time he'd deny phoning previously but the voice was the same. I also got fed up of asking guys to phone back showing their number, some would, most wouldn't and it was wasting my time, blocking up my phone. Getting a withheld blocker was one of the best things I've ever done, stops me jumping for stuff that's highly likely to go nowhere. I do get to see the blocked calls, some do phone showing their number, a lot just call and call being disconnected every time. My ads are clear, no withhelds.

Very, very, very occasionally I knock the blocker off and answer but it's extremely rare and I will not give details or take a booking.

I also do the same with payphones - perhaps I'll confirm the town but after that it's a number that belongs to them or nothing.

Same reason I would not go to a random location with out a postcode or turn up somewhere without telling anyone.

Its not really dangerous but I feel like I put all the information out there for people to contact me, its just mutual respect.

This is sound advice.  Maybe I'd be richer if I took more risks but I'd rather be safer.

Not much point in having a lot of money if you have been assaulted or had your bank details taken or kidnapped 0_0

It is a fucked up world out there and especially with what we do there is no room for error!
