where to go on the weekend?
« on: 19 November 2023, 11:32:20 am »
Hey ladies, so I am usually based in the city and canary wharf Monday-friday. I am struggling on where to go on the weekend as I imagine the city is dead on the weekend.... I have tried Heathrow but it has always been DEAD for me.... any other suggestions? I was thinking Kensington, the west end, Birmingham.... but I don't know what hotel or particular area to go...

Romford used to be quite good for me.

I have the same problem as you, weekends in the city are always bad for me and in the west end are very hit and miss, just take weekends off now and work weekdays

If you need to work weekends maybe try a commuter town around the edges? A lot who travel in to the city during the week will be home on the weekends, go for somewhere with good road links and easy parking over somewhere with good rail links, that matters more when you're outside of the city

I find weekends are a risk wherever you go. If I’m on a long tour I can’t avoid them but my expectations are lower.
I generally find Saturdays busier than Sundays.

If you want to stay in London, Mayfair and Park Lane and Knightsbridge towards Harvey Nics are good on Saturdays.  I've never had trouble finding clients in the bars and hotels there. Sundays are more hit and miss but would get a few of the tourists who are visiting or men from Saturday who took my details.

Watford is really good on the weekends but find an apartment if you can as the hotels in the area are turfing out the working girls nowadays.

If you are interested in the Central London area, try Mayfair or Piccadilly or Bond Street or Marble Arch.  I know a few girls who are consistently booked and busy on the weekends in these areas.

Hey girlies, I am based in the city of London but assume it will be dead between 22nd December- 1st January. Do you recommend any areas to work from during this time?

where to go on a Friday?
« Reply #9 on: 26 September 2024, 09:11:58 pm »
Hey, so I am based in the City of London Monday-Thursday.... I know Thursday is the new Friday now as most city workers are off on a Friday. Wondering if there are other areas that are busy that I can go to.

Try North London for a change of scenery.
Or East London like Romford.

For North London, I suggest sticking to the Northen Lines or Piccadilly Lines if you are looking for traffic from public trasnsport:  King's Cross, Islington, Archway even Highgate and Mill Hill.  Islington was a gold mine for me a few weeks back; I used a private apartment for three days from Booking dot com site.

Romford has a reputation with some for dodgy clients and timewasters, but I only did two days at a popular chain on South Street.  I was low volume and only saw five guys in total over the two days.   It was fine for me and I met two possible regulars that are willing to drive to where I usually base myself in NW London.

I found Islington area of London  super busy on weekends in London. City of London dead  on weekends.

Croydon, Heathrow, Reading, Gatwick, Dartford all been good weekend tours that outside London but fairly close.
