Update on Tryst : have heard so many good feedbacks from girls about it, that it gives them quite a lot of bookings (especially from American clients), etc.
However, for me it's been a complete fail so far (first of all, it's MEGA complicated to get your profile up on there, like I'm not exaggerating, it took me about 2 months for them to approve my profile (after I sent them all the ID documents possible and so many selfies to prove I'm genuine (because every time, "they couldn't clearly identify my age and details" when I can assure my details and date of birth were literally crystal clear on the pictures) anyways so when my profile finally got approved (after I got mad at them on email for messing me around), I was really looking forward to seeing these "numerous" bookings but after a good few weeks (I also paid for one of their premium package that is supposed to make your add more visible), all I got was nothing except a couple of serial timewasters enquiries that led nowhere.
I got the feeling that this website is still fairly new and more popular in North America/Australia and also more suited for high priced girls who do FMTY/long bookings and who advertise on twitter (I might be mistaken but this is how I feel about it) so in the end, not so sure it's worth advertising on there.
Am really surprised it was so complicated to get your profile approved, and that it took so long.
I thought about suggesting Tryst to you, but was unconvinced it would it would garner new business for you. I cannot tell you why though, but feel validated given your experience.
Tryst is four or five years old, I think, and relatively well-established here now. However, their target audience was never the UK. I do not think it ever will be, (and think those who tour the US and work international will probably find Tryst useful). Not being focused on the UK was part of its appeal for me. I joined Tryst when it first started and it worked very well for me - over half my clientele came from there, and should I decide I want to start advertising again, will return in a heartbeat. (During my time using Tryst, I never paid for any of their packages.)
When I first joined Tryst, I had neither a website nor Twitter, although will concede that when I finally got a website and added it to my listing, that led to a surge of bookings. I still don't have/use Twitter - Twitter accounts for a tiny number of punters, and many of us on here don't use it. It has never been to our detriment. Twitter also takes a lot of work, and it's all smoke and mirrors anyway. I know a few FMTY companions who stopped using it because it was all encompassing and bought in little return for the effort involved.
And, as I'm talking about Twitter -
Given that Twitter seems to be in meltdown, I think those whom rely on it for marketing should start thinking about other ways to advertise should it disappear. It could well be on a par to the enormous inconvenience caused when AW removed everyone's phone numbers.
