If you are new on any directory, or in any location, you will get time wasters. It does mellow out after a while.

I have had good luck with it but I don't pay to feature. I let them search for someone my age and race. I also links to my website, and quite a few will read in.

Twats stills call, but really no worse than with aw. But you may need to explain your services a bit more than on aw.

this is my main concern actually- the TW people are consistently talking about on here :). I do get tw drom aw as well, but my account is restricted now as they want me to do verification again?! Idiots. Anyway I cant stay and wait for aw, last time it took thwm over a week to verify me and i cant stay and not work until i get my profile back so i decided to post an ad on vivastreet. Until I try it i guess i cant know in advance whether it will work or not

I'm afraid the TWs are part and parcel of all advertising, but in my experience more so with magazine sites like Viva and Friday Ad.

PTMU don't seem to be approving new ads or moderatoring changes to existing ones anymore. I changed all the photos on my ad and now it's been sat there for days waiting to be approved by a moderator. There's no contact details and their Twitter account has had no activity since last year.

Should also mentioned that I asked Finny at Vivastreet if she knew of anyone who I could contact and she says their is no dedicated customer service team but their moderators review ads twice a day. She has now gone quiet since I emailed yesterday to say my ad was still unapproved.

Update: My ad was approved about 90 minutes after I posted this!

Finny is on holiday

PTMU is semi-abandoned. It still works but they're no longer really pushing it. I'm not sure what they every intended it to do and I'm not sure what their plans are for it.

A shame if that's true about PTMU, as it seems they put quite a lot of thought into designing it. I guess it's because it's free?

Have you done a search on here for that site? There's a thread in the Lion's Den that may prove to be illuminating. I wouldn't bother, myself.

I did - it lasted two weeks. They sent me a reminder one week in that it was falling down the rankings, then a week later pulled it because I was offering sex for money. Er... duh?  ::)

I get quite a few leads from crazyoz but mostly seem to be TWs or people wanting me in different areas.  You have to bump your advert every few days & can add your phone number in the listing. It's got good rankings on google. You have to make a note of your advert number mine's in my cookies but dont know how to get it back. Just create a new advert, you are allowed several.

OK - I'm seeing FridayAd and CrazyOz come up in searches.

Who has experience with these? Would like to know which parts of the country they work in.

Friday ad isn't worth it.
The only place I have had bookings from it is Crawley/Gatwick.
I wouldn't bother paying for it, it's just another expense.

I have put myself on mylocalescort subscription 9.99 per month.
Have recieved one call from it.

If you have a website then it's best to just add a directory banner to your home page and get a free advert.

9.99? minimum price plan is 35 for mylocalescorts or did you mean another website? Getting sick of these companies putting prices up when work is diminishing. Fridayad is now 30 a month, but I've not tried it yet. UKcalssifieds has higher ranking on google & it's a fiver for 6months..only had a couple of leads from it mind you.

Hey guys! Newbie here!

Ive been reading through the threads about advertising and the most comprehensive ones are rather old, so I hope you don't mind if I ask you all, where do you find your ads get the most exposure and you get the most number of leads from?
I'm a new indy in London, I have a limited ad budget so trying my outmost to make good choices.

Thanks a lot!!
