Regarding the unusual sized ones, I haven't been on the site for a few months and can't get on to check right now but freedoms sell  "shag packs" which you can get small or larger ones in so you don't have to bulk but those. I've bought them before, think it's about 12/20 in a pack or something and still at a good price
Do agree we should be buying these ourselves as they are basically the only expense we have in this job

I'm not sure if it's age restricted (i've never been asked anyways!), although it seems more towards the under 25s but in certain Boots in Scotland, you can pick up free packs of Pasantes. They give you a wee card, with all sorts of options, and you tick the ones you want (eg trim, original, large, black, latex-free etc. etc.) I'm not sure if there's a limit on how many packs they give you at once, I've only ever gotten two (24 condoms). Like Alice, I have my usual stash of regular ones, that I keep topped up, but its a handy scheme to pick up the more unusual ones.

We have a C card system in England, it's 25s and under, you just register and can pick them up from various places chemists/clinics

The C Card system is quite restricted though isn't it?  I think it only operates in a handful of towns in England.  For example I am in Bristol and to my knowledge there isn't a C Card venue for miles.  Of course, it's only for under 25s, so guess I'm a bit past that anyway!

I got my condoms the day after ordering!

I love how they come with the little envelopes and "how to put on a condom" leaflets. These are clearly packaged for clinics.

I don't know if I'll need to replace the large or small ones this year but I think the regulars are going to last a few months.

I didn't know about this website. I have been using my local GUM. I have been very open about what I do so they give me 350pk of passante whenever I go in to ask for them, last lot lasted me a year!

Additionally - my local GUM also offers 'large' and 'king size' condoms now too.

I think they're just happy I want condoms and am regularly tested, talked to me about feeling safe etc.

Edit: Just looked at freedoms and ordered their 'passion pouch' will make my carrying about of condoms much more discreet!!

.. and here's the most recent of them.

It's now at freedoms-shop.com

How do you go about this?
Which type of condoms? large, normal flavoured etc etc.

I can not stand the odour of condoms on me after a session, no matter how much perfume I put on or quick showers I take... I can always slightly smell condoms - somewhere, no matter how well I dispose of them. So its pretty much just flavoured condoms for me. But then the larger men don't feel comfortable with such small condoms. I could go on and on about these things!!

Also interested in if anyone knows the cheapest website for buying bulk condoms. And any other info as food for though x

If smell is an issue, I think Skyns are good. My favourite 'standard' is Mates Naturals, and then I buy Pasante King Size or Skyns Extra Large and Pasante Trim for smaller clients. The shag packs are good for the non-standard sizes.

I have a box of mixed flavoured for doing OW, but haven't used one yet.

I have been buying condoms from supermarkets away from my home town where I won't be recognised up to now but get really embarrassed every time.

I see Durex advertised online on Amazon which would seem to make sense but something in me says how can I be sure they are genuine and safe. Do any of you buy from Amazon? Am I being stupid?

Hi Jess and welcome :)

I've merged your post with the most recent of the condom threads, partly to keep it all together and partly because you'll find the web address for the Freedoms NHS shop above - it's a great resource and without looking at Amazon, I'd imagine the prices will compare pretty favourably.

If the condoms you've seen on Amazon are being sold by Amazon rather than a third party seller then I'd can't imagine there will be anything wrong with them - condoms have to meet the British Standards criteria to be sold here and it's a reputable company. There have been reports of fake branded condoms being sold on eBay and similar by individuals, so it's really down to using your best judgement :).

Thanks, sorry for posting in the wrong place. I did look to see if I could find any advice on buying condoms.

One potential issue with buying off a random someone online is they may send you a massive box of condoms that are one month away from expiration. I believe I read a review to that effect on Amazon.

The Freedoms website mentioned in the OP is awesome and very affordable. You can't go wrong with them.
