« on: 13 November 2014, 12:51:50 pm »
Hi there, I'm Anna :) I've been reading for a while and you all give some fab advice so thought I would join ! X

I'm new to being independant and was wondering if any of you had ideas of where I can tour in and around the Yorkshire area and also good hotels to stay at while doing so :)

Thanks in advance xx

Hiya, Leeds and Bradford are decent.
Workable hotels in Leeds that I've used are [removed] and in Bradford I've used the [removed - hotels don't stay prossie friendly for long if we post their names on the public board], pretty cheap too, normally ?50-60 a night x

Agreed, Leed was very quiet for me as well but I do well in Glasgow and Birmingham. You can put your profile to the location you want to try just for few hours see if you getting any calls.

You're not wrong there,  hotel prices have soared in Leeds the past couple of weeks. We're talking ?150 for one night and I won't risk it. Trying to make alternative arrangements for now. Bradford hotels are reasonable at the moment and I find it busy there.

I toured Exeter and Southampton, each time was good enought to come back. You should check it out.

I do fairly well in York & keep getting asked when I'll be back. Manchester, a lil further afield was dead for me(there was 7 pages of girls within 2 miles of my postcode, so I guess that didn't help) Sheffield was awful. I keep getting asked about going to Leeds but more people have told me it's dead there, than otherwise.

Like Barbie said, I think it is different for different people :-)

Good luck with it all :-D xx

Cornwall is brilliant, bit of a track and you need to drive as everything is a miles away from each other

I know this is based in the Yorkshire area, but if you ever think of coming further north, Edinburgh is ok!  :D
