Do you advertise more? Or just sit it out?
I've just paid for some featured advertising on mylocalescort last night and although my page views are up, I've not had one single enquiry  :FF
Maybe I'll advertise more on selectanescort.
I'm on most sites, AW included but having just lost a regular regular, I want some more business.
Do any of you pay AW to feature your profile and is it worth it? I live in the north btw.

I used to use quiet times for investigating sites that may work in my area and getting myself listed on them.

ETA : I'm talking about free sites and not paying sites.

What I have never done is start shelling out money to advertise. Never having "featured" myself on any site I have managed to tick along nicely without having to do that.

How much is a front page available feature on AW? Does anyone know, as I have heard it is a 3figure sum!!

It can be anything from 100-700 GBP a day.  Best idea to see what's happening when is to watch the final bid and take it from there. I've never seen rhyme or reason for why it goes extra high but I'm sure someone will be able to enlighten you soon.

I think you've confused featuring with the Prossie Of The Day spot; the featured profile function usually costs between about a fiver and twenty five quid, depending on how you quick you are. I don't bother with it unless I'm in London.

Since this isn't the Adultwork board and there's plenty of threads about the paid promotions there, I'd say that updating your pictures (or even just swapping around the ones you have) never hurts. Blogging always works for me, too :).

I wait, do other things and it becomes busy again. I add to my website, keep it up to date. At the moment I'm not wanting to expand advertising - being on lots of other directories from which potential clients either don't read, or don't follow links to my websites that only causes me more problematic enquiries than actual bookings, so I'd rather stick to core websites.

I'm quite lazy now and love quiet days so I can go to extra gym classes . Blogging defiantly helps shake things up though and new pictures and strap line, if I can be bothered I update every 20 mins to stay at the top. Regional escort has some benefits too x

I've found new pics can help, but mostly I just wait it out - it's swings and roundabouts, and I have plenty to do in my other job, housework, keeping up with friends, gardening etc. etc. I never have much pure down time so I'm never twiddling my thumbs.

I have a blogging feature on my website, but only used it once. I have never blogged on AW.

I only do it on AW, I add to it every few days or when I get a chance. I don't really write anything sexual...just observations, daily occurrences, interests...I get great feedback and I think it gives the people I attract an inside to the real human side of me, they don't see me as just a faceless escort.

When it's quiet I tend to preoccupy myself with other things that usually gets the flow going again. I am down one website and still get the same flow funny that.

When I'm quiet I up my advertising paid and free it almost always gets that phone ringing without fail. If it's dead except for regulars then I jump on cam and hustle my arse off on there as well, I often hit the same targets from cam as I do from escorting and sometimes wish I had the time for both lol.
