Hi all. I am very new and about to put an advert out this week, fingers crossed I get something from it. I have searched the site for all my questions but can't find the answer to this one. When does the acctual time for a booking start. Is it as soon as they arrive or as you actually get down to business? I would imagine chatting/ showering if necessary and the business side of all take some time so is this part of their booked time? Thank you.
-
Paying, showering and the initial "hi how are you" should take no longer than 5 mins, I start the booking just after that. Any more than 5 mins (if he's dithering/wanting to chat etc) then I start the time after 5 mins has passed. So he gets his booking time + 5 mins.
-
I count the money changing hands and shower as being on my time, not that I tell clients that as they are more likely to take forever in the shower if they know it's on your time.
-
Hiya Carmel, I usually 'time it' (discreetly of course) from when we both enter the bedroom. If the client has a shower prior and/or after, I include that as part of their booking to stop clients taking the mick and showering for 15 or 20mins, for instance, then adding the booking time on top, consequently reducing my time to shower/bed strip/airing the room out etc for the next client.
I've read on here that some girls are quite lenient on time, each to their own, but at the end of the day, they are paying for your time.

As soon as they walk in the door.

Not yet mentioned is that it can depend on how long the booking is for. People doing 15/30 minute quickies tend to be more ruthless about starting the timing when they arrive than those doing two hour bookings, for example.
Ultimately, it's up to you, what you're comfortable with, and whether or not they're taking the piss.
-
Thank you all, that's great. I think I will allow a little amount of time, say ten minutes to get stuff out of the way and then start the clock so to speak whether or not the pleasantries are over with. With the hour + bookings anyway.
-
Pretty much from their appointment time.I will give guys extra time at the end if I don't have another booking until later and we really get on but if a guy is late or fannying about in the shower I won't go over the time he booked for.Time for us is money and although I won't set an alarm and take a 5 min shower either way into booking times, they can't have aload of time showering on top of the hour they have paid for.Ian is quite right this is stricter on 30 mins and 15 mins,it has to be realistically.
-
I think about 7 minutes before and 7 minutes at the end is reasonable. I prefer them clean. The worst ones are the ones who don't shower then stink. Then ask for a shower afterwards! :FF
-
I start timing before they even get through the door, lol. I ask clients to call me when they arrive on the street and that's when i set an alarm on my phone. If its a half hour booking i'll set an alarm for 30 minutes plus an extra 10-15 minutes for pleasantries and freshening up, %95 of the time they are gone before the alarm goes off so they don't know about it anyway.
The only recent occasion i can recall that it's gone off around a client was with a bloke who was deliberately trying to stop himself and last as long as possible, he even said as much the cheeky sod knowing full well he'd been at it more than half an hour during a 30 minute booking. I'm glad my repetitive alarm put him off his stride ;D
I know some people don't agree with setting alarms but it's never been a problem for me and seems better than having a big clock on the wall. The only ones who'll hear it are the ones that are going over their time in which case they should be aware that they are. I'm more relaxed on longer bookings though.
-
With them waking in, paying and me getting them a drink etc shouldn't take any more than 5 mins or if they are having a shower before we start then from them waking through the door to lying down in the bed, it shouldn't take any more than 10 mins so I start the clock when they lay down with me.
If someone takes the piss in the shower taking like 15 mins etc (probably having a sly wank) then I will start the clock 10 minutes after they have walked through the door.

I dont time my bookings anymore, I have an internal clock built in. I dont mind if they stay 10-15 minutes longer, especially if Im enjoying myself. I always take at least one hour break between bookings or more and I dont like to see more then 2-3 guys in a day. I know its shocking, but I preffer to stay sane and dont burn out.

Your procedure sounds EXACT same as mine :D
Unusually I leave an hour to an hour and a half in between, don't mind running over and I have a target of seeing 2 men a day but 3 being my absolute limit as I know what I can handle in a day mentally aswell as physically. If I seen any more than 3 clients then I just know I wouldn't be able to provide the same standard to client number 4.

Exactly :)
No wonder they keep coming back even after 4 years or so :) Im always up for sex and horny as hell and I intend to keep doing it like this.
-
From the time they walk into my bedroom their time starts, they are paying for my time and whatever they want during their 30 mins, Hour or more is up to them, showering, chit chat etc but the clock runs from the time they step in.
-
Some leave early, some leave late. It balances out eventually.
I have a timed playlist from as soon as they walk in the door though ;) No obvious clock watching.
-
I start the time when they arrive, and stop it according to how they behave during the booking. Any hint of pisstaking, 15 minute showers, obvious holding back or showing no signs of wanting to wrap things up with 5 minutes to go (I had one of these the other week on tour who wanted to discuss other positions we could try at the 57 minute mark) or otherwise deliberate twattery and they're done no more than a minute after their time's up.
Otherwise I'm not that bothered about overruns, although like others here I'm strict with 30 and 45 minute bookings and I don't see why somebody should get an hour for thirty quid less than somebody else just because he thinks it's OK to faff about chatting for 15 minutes rather than getting up and starting to get dressed or go for a shower. I have a regular who always tries this, and it drives me nuts.

Oh how I loathe this. Just had one of those today. Just come already you greedy fu*k...
Personally I have always, since day one (been at it two years) timed it from as soon as they walk through the door.
Saying that, I have always worked for agencies, so, especially regarding incalls, I have no other choice, as it's their apartment, and if one person runs over it can unfairly screw up potentially another 15 ladies days.
However, I wouldn't do any different if I were to ever actually get a none time wasting AW booking after 3 months & 70+shitty messages go independent.
I provide a very vanilla service though, and I find due to my age (20) that I tend to get a lot of boundary pushers. It has got to the sorry point where I have to repeat myself to a lot to clients when they try and force me into services I don't provide (OWO, A levels etc.) that they are paying for my time not my what happens within it.
Don't get me wrong- I have no problem staying for longer with outcall clients who I actually enjoy the company of. I have stayed for a good 4 hours extra with some clients (just talking) who I actually really 'click' with- but they're never first time clients & they know me well enough not to try anything beyond the paid time. But that is very rare.
When I enjoy someone's company & conversation & have nothing better to do with my day I will stay as long as I want to unpaid (again, no sex involved beyond the paid time) but I always make it very clear that is my choice on this occasion and it may not happen again.
However, as most people on this forum will be aware of by now, I am constantly struggling for money due to terrible bad luck with attempts at going indie and every agency I have worked for being heavily bent on favouritism, so if I do stay with a client for longer than what they've paid for it's mostly because I am so bored/lonely that I actually crave the company...
-
I start from when I've been paid as I won't do anything beforehand. I hate when clients lean in for a kiss or something before the session has started. I do the hello, how are you, you want half an hour, don't you, oh, thanks, I will put that away, what's the time?
-
I do outcalls only at the moment and I start the clock (my internal clock) from the time I walk in the door. An hour is more than enough to include pleasantries and chatting, and they're already showered when I arrive. Sometimes I will stay a little longer.
-
Thank you all. I love the idea of a timed play list that is very subtle. Checking the time and reminding him if his booking when taking the money is good as well. My advert is going in today so I want to be fully armed with as much info as possible.
-
From the time I open the door, the time starts. I'm fairly lenient with time and not a clock watcher (I don't own a watch and never have my phone out), but guys are usually very respectful of time. I've never had it run over by more than about 5/10 minutes.

Totally agree, start the clock on the door opening but the way the booking goes dictates whether we over run or not. And tougher on shorter bookings but honestly they tend to finish early anyway.
Although I do have one 30 min regular who I could happily have stay all day!!!! Its all about me and he is gorgeous, but even then it comes to a natural end at about 45 mins.

I will let sex time overrun 5 mins on half hr bookings and 10 on 1 hour bookings. I do have a visible alarm clock but I don't see why I shouldn't as I need to know what is the time and I don't keep glancing at it, eg when I get the condom or toys I will check it. Also most guys take their watches off or don't wear one so it gives them an indication of how long they have left and I see them look at it.
I talk too much sometimes so spend too much time chatting even on half hr bookings but I am going to stop ;D
-
When the paperwork is done I'm on paid time thats when the clock starts. Interested to know what you ladies do if a client is late..say he has a one hour booking at 1pm but he is 30mins late which really messes up your later bookings so do you charge him for the 1 hour but give him 30 minutes charge him for 30 minutes or give him the hour and cause problems for the clients booked after him?
-
Clearly charge him for 30 minutes and he has to go after 30 minutes.
Cant charge a client for one hour if he is late and you have another booking right after, you have the option not to take the late client at all or to leave at least one hour between bookings.
Its how I do it and never had issues.
-
Yeah, I start charging the minute I'm inside their home. And if they're late for whatever reason, they still have to pay for the full session with me :/

+1 this is exactly the way I work.
I never really "time" the booking, I just kind of know how long it's been. I may check now and again and sometimes the client actually asks me too, but I'd never clock watch. I don't mind going slightly over, I never include the shower in the time. With playlists etc it seems very rigid and parlour like to me, I think some guys actually (excuse the pun) "clock on" if you do that, not wrong but not something I would ever do.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't let someone take the piss, but then all my clients are generally very nice and leave pretty much on time. I also never see more than 2-3 max guys in one day and always leave at least an hour (usually much more) between any booking.
-
Doing outcalls I start my time from the moment I meet him, usually the arranged time which makes it pretty easy for me to plan my life. I don't mind running over up to 15-30 minutes depending on how long I'm booked for (longer than 3 hours for an extra 30 being OK). I don't see loads of guys a day though so it's alright.
I've recently had a request book to meet at 12pm for 2 hours, then e-mail me asking if I'm happy to meet for a drink beforehand at 11.15am. In lieu of this I asked whether the 2 hours is from 11.15am or 12pm, as 45 minutes on top of a 2 hour booking is really far too long and rather cheeky if you ask me. He said the room is available from 12.15 so "maybe a grey area". I've responded that I think 11.15am is early (I usually meet in evenings) and 2 hours from 12.15 sounds good as 11.15 would make the session 3 hours. I'm awaiting his reply but I won't actually be meeting him. I'm a friendly girl who does enjoy meeting most of the guys I do, I usually have a good time in my meets. But I set my rates for a reason, mulled over them carefully... why do some of these guys think it's OK to try and devalue your time just because you a) may enjoy sex with them or b) they want to have a drink with you for an hour beforehand? It immediately turns me off thinking a guy is cheap too LOL and they know what the score is...
-
I start from when they walk in, or whatever time the booking was scheduled to start - so if it was 2-3pm it starts at 2pm. if the client is late then tough, but if I am late then obviously I will run over as it was my fault.
