When do you start timing?
« on: 15 June 2014, 04:55:55 pm »
Hi all. I am very new and about to put an advert out this week, fingers crossed I get something from it. I have searched the site for all my questions but can't find the answer to this one. When does the acctual time for a booking start. Is it as soon as they arrive or as you actually get down to business? I would imagine chatting/ showering if necessary and the business side of all take some time so is this part of their booked time? Thank you.

Paying, showering and the initial "hi how are you" should take no longer than 5 mins, I start the booking just after that. Any more than 5 mins (if he's dithering/wanting to chat etc) then I start the time after 5 mins has passed. So he gets his booking time + 5 mins.

I count the money changing hands and shower as being on my time, not that I tell clients that as they are more likely to take forever in the shower if they know it's on your time.

Hiya Carmel, I usually 'time it' (discreetly of course) from when we both enter the bedroom.  If the client has a shower prior and/or after, I include that as part of their booking to stop clients taking the mick and showering for 15 or 20mins, for instance, then adding the booking time on top, consequently reducing my time to shower/bed strip/airing the room out etc for the next client.

I've read on here that some girls are quite lenient on time, each to their own, but at the end of the day, they are paying for your time.

Not yet mentioned is that it can depend on how long the booking is for. People doing 15/30 minute quickies tend to be more ruthless about starting the timing when they arrive than those doing two hour bookings, for example.

Ultimately, it's up to you, what you're comfortable with, and whether or not they're taking the piss.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Thank you all, that's great. I think I will allow a little amount of time, say ten minutes to get stuff out of the way and then start the clock so to speak whether or not the pleasantries are over with. With the hour + bookings anyway.

Pretty much from their appointment time.I will give guys extra time at the end if I don't have another booking until later and we really get on but if a guy is late or fannying about in the shower I won't go over the time he booked for.Time for us is money and although I won't set an alarm and take a 5 min shower either way into booking times, they can't have aload of time showering on top of the hour they have paid for.Ian is quite right this is stricter on 30 mins and 15 mins,it has to be realistically.

I think about 7 minutes before and 7 minutes at the end is reasonable. I prefer them clean.  The worst ones are the ones who don't shower then stink. Then ask for a shower afterwards! :FF
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I start timing before they even get through the door, lol. I ask clients to call me when they arrive on the street and that's when i set an alarm on my phone. If its a half hour booking i'll set an alarm for 30 minutes plus an extra 10-15 minutes for pleasantries and freshening up, %95 of the time they are gone before the alarm goes off so they don't know about it anyway.

The only recent occasion i can recall that it's gone off around a client was with a bloke who was deliberately trying to stop himself and last as long as possible, he even said as much the cheeky sod knowing full well he'd been at it more than half an hour during a 30 minute booking. I'm glad my repetitive alarm put him off his stride  ;D

I know some people don't agree with setting alarms but it's never been a problem for me and seems better than having a big clock on the wall. The only ones who'll hear it are the ones that are going over their time in which case they should be aware that they are. I'm more relaxed on longer bookings though.

With them waking in, paying and me getting them a drink etc shouldn't take any more than 5 mins or if they are having a shower before we start then from them waking through the door to lying down in the bed, it shouldn't take any more than 10 mins so I start the clock when they lay down with me.

If someone takes the piss in the shower taking like 15 mins etc (probably having a sly wank) then I will start the clock 10 minutes after they have walked through the door.

I dont time my bookings anymore, I have an internal clock built in. I dont mind if they stay 10-15 minutes longer, especially if Im enjoying myself. I always take at least one hour break between bookings or more and I dont like to see more then 2-3 guys in a day. I know its shocking, but I preffer to stay sane and dont burn out.

Your procedure sounds EXACT same as mine  :D

Unusually I leave an hour to an hour and a half in between, don't mind running over and I have a target of seeing 2 men a day but 3 being my absolute limit as I know what I can handle in a day mentally aswell as physically. If I seen any more than 3 clients then I just know I wouldn't be able to provide the same standard to client number 4.

From the time they walk into my bedroom their time starts, they are paying for my time and whatever they want during their 30 mins, Hour or more is up to them, showering, chit chat etc but the clock runs from the time they step in.
Never regret the things you've done only the things you haven't done.
