Title: What oil does not erode condoms?
Post by: TheLittleMatchGirl on 29 May 2014, 05:08:26 pm
Hi all had a quick search but couldn't find anything
Is there an oil out there that is fine to use on your bits and doesn't erode condoms?

As far as I know only lube can be used, any oil will weaken condoms although I'm not sure what the situation is with non-latex condoms.

Only waterbased things don't erode condoms.

Silicone oil (as found in various lubes - Pjur is my favourite) is fine with condoms, but don't get it on silicone toys :).

What do you want to use the oil for - lubrication or for relieving a skin issue?

No oil is compatible with condoms.

One of the silicon "oils" would probably work - they are much more slippery than water-based lubricant.

That's what I use the ID silicone lube for.  It's perfect for massage and for fun afterwards without worrying about condom breakage.

Silicone lube can be a complete pain to wash out of stuff though, so you may consider using it on outcalls / somewhere else only. You really want to avoid their feet if they're going to be in the shower later too as it will stay slippy in water for a while.

All this is one reason some people use talc for massaging.

Ian is right.  Silicone lube can be a pain to wash off.  I usually use large black bath towels placed over the bed to avoid any stains to the bedding, and I definitely avoid massaging the feet.  I've seen too many bad feet to want to go near them. lol.  Investing in one of those rubber bath mats to put in the bath will also help to prevent any slippage.
