I would have answered

Hi

with 'Hi there! My name is Amy' and possibly with 'did you miss it?' tacked on depending on how annoying the rest of it was :).

For what it's worth, I think the part he's referring to is

As it says on my profile

...because you're basically calling him a dickhead for asking a question you've already answered in your ad instead of fawning all over his tit compliments and ability to crowbar the word 'amazing' three times into a forty word email. The word he means likely isn't 'aggressive', it's probably 'formal' and possibly even 'curt', but as demonstrated above I doubt his vocabulary stretches that far.

Haha nowhere near agressive. It also can form part of your screening process that you’re not interested to see people who cba to read basic info on your profile. In which case, I don’t mind being curt and pointing out that they’re an idiot because I already don’t want to meet them. Not being rude to my clients, I’m being rude to someone I think is an idiot. Idiots don’t often get chance to be clients.

If you have availability plastered all over profile and it's aw you're talking about.

It's totally against there T&C's and if it's spotted or reported by anyone ( s/w's or Punters in the know) they will shut you down.

On topic i' m often sending abrupt texts "that's a nice hello"! Along with I'm sure if you keep searching you might find someone happy to take a booking from you !
