Title: What do you class as a busy day? (Slow at the minute or just me?!)
Post by: ChloeClouds on 29 September 2019, 09:10:52 am
In terms of the amount of clients you see, what exactly is a good, busy working day to you?

When looking through the "Slow at the minute or just me" thread I often find myself wondering what this lady classes as "quiet" or "busy". We all have different expectations after all. 5 clients a day to one SW may be fantastic, but to others that may be quiet.

Hi,

6-7 per day in 30 or 60 minute intervals keeps me going from 11am until around 9pm. That’s what I call busy. Love counting at the end ;-)

Two bookings, even busier if they are 2 multi - hour bookings.

I think it very much depends on each person as an individual and what your financial goals are.Busy for me was 6 a day and it was probably too much for me realistically.3 was a what I called a good day,as in enough for me financially without frazzling my mind and body.1 could be quite enough though if it was a longish booking.

As I only work part-time (not every day) I look at things on a week-by-week basis, so a busy week for me would be meeting or exceeding my weekly target, which for me would be seeing approx 6 clients during that week.

I'm similar to Kit really. Even when I wasn't doing my civvy job (the first 4-5 months) I considered four a day busy. Now more than five clients in a week would be unusual for me.

Same, but sometimes I'll see 3. The other week I did 4 for the first time ever. Never done more than 3. Ever. The 4 in a day I had a headache for the rest of the week!

When I’m touring I don’t work by amount of clients  I work by how much I want to make per day and I generally have a target that I want to hit
Some days  I can get it by 3 clients by 2pm it depends on how long the bookings are and the prices   that the client has paid
but even if I make my target with 3 clients by say 2pm I will carry on working till my usual finish time which is anything from 7pm - 9pm depending on how I feel and if I’m engrossed in anything on Netflix 😂

It also depends on how late I want to work I don’t generally work late or past 9pm as I start early
But I’m pretty sure if I worked till 11pm I could easily rake in a few hundred quid more
Last night my last booking was at 9pm I had a very strange day brilliant start with a two hour and a
1 hr booking  and a 30 mins all by 2pm then dead till 5pm  then it went crazy and I didn’t stop till 9pm
When I checked my phone I missed lots of calls after 9pm so I’m sure I could have done at least 2 more bookings if I was prepared to work a bit later

When I’m at home though  I’m a lazy cow and will try to do 2 bookings a day but like I said I’m lazy and I turn down a lot of work every day
It’s much slower at home so although I could be busier I lose the motivation to stick it out 😂

For me 5-6 daily is busy day from my flat, I feel like I've done a 'proper' day. But reality 2-3 is more likely average day but that's awfull dragging and I don't like dead space in my day. If I booked a hotel on tour I'd expect to do 5-6 daily to make the effort worthwhile. If I can do an extra late outcall-overnight on top of that per night then it's all gravy. Happy to work round the clock on tour that's my ideal catch sleep in the gaps.

I go on a week by week or even month by month basis, because I generally see longer bookings 2 hours plus etc, so its not so much a numbers game. Something else I like to keep an eye on is amount of return clients and new clients; if I'm not getting a good mix of both I would worry because if I'm just getting returns by advertising needs a game up and if I'm just getting new guys I need to be better 'in the room' as it were. I like consistency also, more than being busy per se, I don't like things to be too erratic, or to do too many and burn out, playing the long game and all that. On the very rare occasion I tour I like to do at least 4 though, otherwise it feels pointless, and a busy tour is 6/7.

Anything more than two meets a day is considered busy by me if I am working locally.

When touring anything more than 4 I would consider busy.  Although I have yet to see more than 5 in one day but then I do have to drive home owing to family commitments.

I used to work a ridiculous amount, seeing anything up to 8 clients in a day (I would work 3 days per week of this). Now, I see up to 5 clients (all 1 hour minimum, 4 days per week) - that would be a busy day for me. Most of the time, I see two or three as they are often more than an hour booking and I don't have the same drive as before. I'm quite happy having 3 hour long bookings in a day and not feeling like my vagina or patience has been ripped apart.

Yeah, 4 is good for me, I'm even happy with 2 maybe 3 max.

Sucks though, it's a slow day, I fucking hate this lol. I hate sitting here, waiting, freaking out because the phone makes no noise. Stressing about money, no savings, I should be a millionaire from escorting, what is happening. Ugh.

This is the quietest half of the year as well, well I think so anyway, it’s like clients hibernate and reappear round about March/April!!

I usually book a hotel from 3 onwards so 3-4 1hr is usually busy for me if I want to get home at a reasonable time.

I do usually get more booking requests but if I'm honest I enjoy leaving a good hour between clients to have a long shower, grab a drink, and get ready again.

If I wasn't as lazy I could up my clients but i quite enjoy nipping for pizza lol!

Haven’t worked for two years but looking to get back into it.

Average day was 4/5 6+ was busy. I once had a day where I saw 9 people. I was touring so took as many people as I could. Was a very lucrative day but almost fell asleep in the bath tub that night and caught a cold which ruined the next couple days!

For those of us/you who are mainly tourers, having to do eg. 3 or 4 one hour bookings or the equivalent just to pay a couple of nights hotel fees then do another pile of bookings to make that profit is I suppose just par for the course and I have done it but now it would fill me with dread.

I do kind of admire the sps who do this on a very regular basis as it must be tiring both physically and mentally. At present I do just a handful of bookings per week. Several years of busy busy times were great but my energy levels now just would not tolerate more than a single figure of bookings over a week.

Like a lot of you guys I'm lazy too and will alternate between incalls from a hotel and outcalls(which I prefer) so anything from 2-4 a day is good although I could probably do more but I just get too lazy and I don't work all the time. When I was a few years younger and had a spring in my step I worked in a parlour and I would see between 10-12 on a Friday and 6-8 on a Saturday, I make the same amount now seeing 3-4 working independently as I did back then seeing 10!

Also forget about how many you see a day to what is busy it is also about what you charge and what you actually do for that money. Some might see 5 in a day and some of them could be £40 50 or 60 pound services or someone else could see 5 and all hours between 130 and say 180. So i think it is not always about how many but what the clients pay and how much you need to do for that amount. I think this really makes a difference to how busy someone is in there mind set.

Exactly. If someone charges £200 an hour and someone else half that (which is I guess the general per hour range) the former only needs to see half of the latter to take the same. And then there is the running  costs of your business which will vary. Profit per time spent is what’s most important not busyness per se.

So what as the OP Chloe, what do you consider is/as being busy ?

I escort part time. I'm outcalls only and my availability is really limited. I can only work a few evenings per week and the odd weekend during the day. 3 per week is busy for me because of this! On average it's probably about 1 per week at the moment. I'm thinking of getting an incall place as I'd like to increase the amount of clients I can see.

I did 3 bookings yesterday. One 30 minutes, one hour and one two hours.

I do a mixture of all things fetish though, so I certainly can't cope with more than 3 longer bookings in a day. As mentioned previously, I once did 4 but it nearly killed me!  ;D

The most I did in one day is seven separate one hour bookings over a 12 hour period., I guess that was busy.

Used to do 5-7 a day 2 days a week, was good for me but too tiring.

Now aiming for 10-13h of booking time a week as I'm part time. I work 3 days a week, max 3 clients a day. Sometimes 2 clients if it's longer bookings.
I consider it mid volume, but as my rate high, this gives me very good amount of money.

2 bookings a day is slow
Average is 4
a good day is 6
Although it depends of the length of bookings and I work 6/7 days a week because the area I am in is saturated.

If I'm working from home then I'd say 2-3 was ideal. Because no accommodation costs, plus keeping footfall low for discretion.

If I'm touring then a good day would be £350, busy would be £500+, I've had amazing days where I've done over £800 but been very tired after.

How do use all do it!? 3-4 is enough for me or I start to get tired or my vagina hurts! Teach me girls! Wheres this energy coming from!?! 😂😂

My vagina is also a bit delicate and particularly doesn't like fat cocks. I have a FAQ on my AW profile that says "If you can't fit into a kingsize Mates then we won't be having penetrative sex." I would rather give someone some money back than put myself out of action for the rest of the day/tour. If I get to the end of the day and I'm feeling a bit delicate, I use a BV Activ pessary overnight (make sure you're wearing crappy old knickers AND pyjamas otherwise the pessary will leave a lubey-type stain on your sheets!)

But also, I have really worked on my BJ skills and more than 50% of my bookings are oral only. I also do a lot of roleplay and bum-fun (on them.) I offer oral-only quickies, which I find don't dent my energy at all and most are over in 5 mins. I could do quickies all day long and not get tired. I also limit new clients to 1r max (the idea of getting stuck in a 2hr booking with an unknown quantity who might turn out to be an arrogant annoying arsewipe just fills me with dread.)

I actively cultivate regulars who have small cocks!

You hit the nail on the head with the big cocks Voluptouscurves. I’m from Ireland and coming to Britain the average punter has such a fat cock here hahahahah I’m trans so I do anal penetration mostly and the idea of a client with a big fat British cock scares me senseless. I’ve noticed a lot of the British guys have thick girthy ones. I’m quite tight in that area and I’m skinny too in general so I don’t like the idea of big cocks at all I just don’t have the anatomy for it shall we say heheh.

Busy for me would be 7 , Yesterday my phone was busy and I turned away bookings because I'd had a 3 hour booking night before and I was tired so did 5 with only 20 minutes inbetween each but got to go home early and relax because I was shattered. I actually prefer 30 min bookings, Less mentally draining and often finished before the 30 minutes except last week I got a guy taking the pee and I could tell he wanted to pay for 30 minutes and milk extra time, Won't see him again, Such a cheek. Not done the 15 minute bookings because I'm worried they will take longer and end up being almost 30 minute bookings.

Mine would be 4 hours a day at £200 an hour. I only take half hour bookings if it’s getting late and I’m desperate. A slow day would be 1 Job. Medium day 2 and my perfect day 4 then I can pack up by 7 and go home.

Yep me too, my perfect day is 4 bookings and hour bookings. I prefer quality bookings over quantity and try and pick and choose carefully who sound mostly friendly or who i think booking will work for both of us.

My daily goal is 3 sex clients and oral only max 2 depending if I can be arsed lol.. Slow is any less than 3 sex clients. Busy is 4. I prefer 30 mins break in between else I lose motivation and pack up and go home. I could probably have 5 a day if I wasnt waiting around. But I'm happy with 3 :) but I only go by my daily £ target tbh and If I feel it's too slow and I not going to reach that, then I'm off home.

Like Milky I prefer to be busy than waiting around, Today is tumbleweed day, 1 booking at lunch and just timewasters asking questions since early morning, Bore off lol. It's hard because yesterday was great and today not great and although I've made the accommodation back it's a small profit so far. I munch prefer working from my home but with lockdown and more neighbours home it's not convenient now or discreet. And booking accommodation is expensive

The 15 minutes the other day was my first and I was worried they’d book 15 but try and take 30 minutes but, thankfully he didn’t and needed to be back at work :) I’m not sure I’d carry on taking 15 mins though as I’m quite laid back with time and once clients realise this, some will take the piss.

I Quite laid back when it comes to bookings too, and have set myself a small target that I’m happy to go home with in case the day is quiet. I’ve not had a day with no bookings yet and try and work on bookings only so I can check for reviews on the client but my friends don’t, they display their number and receive a lot more booking. I’m too nervous to have clients call my number and arrange a booking without being able to check them out first on aw :) I know this effects my bookings but oh well :)

it changed over time, whe I first started it would be one a day average, by the time of covid started it be 6 average. I did not work for a while during Covid but saw mostly regulars. Now about 70% of clients are regular, many will book me for two or three hours and I see  2 or three clients a day although only one on Fridays.

Even if people do want to answer this, it's not going to be helpful to you because everybody is different and works in different ways - the posters here are located all over the UK (and some are overseas too), we're all shapes, sizes and ages from late teens to 60+ and offer all kinds of different services? Some are incall only/outcall only, some work around children or other jobs, some only work at night/during the day/at weekends and so on.

Maybe do the sort of search that a punter might do if he was looking for somebody like you, and you ought to find mostly ads of people who are similar so you can see what they're charging :)

Agree. Find your USP and market it. Also think about how much you want to work and target.

I can only do a max of 40 appointments a month due to childcare however with this and my target of what I "need" to make I can work out my rates.

Remember monthly need and want are two very different areas.

Numbers of clients per day will vary due to locations plus if somebody is touring.
