Vivastreet Advert Approval
« on: 22 September 2014, 11:44:55 am »
I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a delay in getting their ads approved? I had this problem in the middle of August with modifications for an ad going unapproved for 3 days until I contacted them and asked them about it. Then it happened again at the end of August and I contacted the person who posts on here who told me people were on holiday and sick. But now, 3 weeks later, it's still taking them days to approve my ad.

Just keep calling them and get it done immediately without waiting.  You are paying for a service and deserve to get a decent service.  Don't accept a sub standard service.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

I have never had that problem with viva street and have been advertising with them since 2011. After making payment if you send them an email or phone them during office hours. This should help speed things up for you.

I never had a problem up until about a month ago so I don't know what's going on. They have given me a months worth of being featured for free so I can't complain too much :)

Doesn't matter whether they've given you freebies, they are offering the freebies to promote their service, which until recently had been quite restrictive for the fee charged. Doesn't the ad period start from the date you submit?

They never offered me freebies before I had a problem. Doesn't mean I'll pay for them in future. My ad expires 30 days from approval time (yesterday), not when I posted it (Sunday).

Has viva street been giving anyone else problem in actually placing an advert? I can't even get it to the point in publishing it.
Also I don't even know how much basic ad is and how they take this payment?
Can anyone advise please?
Thank

I have never had that problem either, but this should really not happen. Call their customer service team and make sure your ad gets approved. Lets hope this was just the typical summer holiday time.
I mean I have only had my ad there since mid August, but my impression is that they do it quite quickly and its been great. Get a lot of contacts. Havn't experienced any issues, but lucky you... getting freebies and stuff  ;D

And Rai:
I think the price comes up when you create an ad and type in your postcode... I guess it depends on your location. And Once you have done that there are different options to choose... depends on how visible you want to be on the site. And then you create the ad and the option comes up how you would like to pay... I used Visa. Was quite easy but feel free to pop any questions  :) woop woop
Hope this helps.

Thanks Lara! Maybe I should use the laptop. I just don't like to use it even in incognito mode as its my little ones.

Viva street have had a bug in their system that wasn't showing new ads to be moderated.

I had one ad that took 10 days to be moderated. Send them an email and say you're a saafe member and they will give your free advertising
