I am thinking of advertising on Viva.
To those that use it whats extras do you pay for?
I was thinking the re posting my ad twice a day option, but unsure as to what else to pay for.
Not keen on the idea of paying 40-50 a week on some of the more expensive options unless they really work and are necessary.
Can anyone help?

I would avoid paying for 'new' next to your profile or for it to be highlighted or featured.Most guys I have spoken to say that they make the profile look more fake.If you have a website then I would pay to be able to have the address on your advert.

I use Vivastreet and I don't pay for any extras. Never felt the need.

VivaStreet is brilliant, I only pay the basic 19.99 a month and get a lot of business from it, well worth it. Actually cheaper than AW !!

Funny isn't it I've always found them shit! With a massive ratio of TWs and cheapskates as compared to genuine clients. Even in the areas where they supposedly work. In other areas other magazine sites have a similar ratio of TWs to clients.

I don't know the prices anymore but I do know that the busier the area the more they charge you for the ad and I would assume the same goes for the extras too. 😢

I used Vivast two years ago and it was really good. Then I tried to use it over the summer last year and got a lot of TW and weird calls and unsavoury sounding guys so was not impressed plus it had gone up hugely in price.
Not sure if I would use them again. I also found many guys wished to lower my very normal rate.

?19.99 I've never seen it that cheap that when adding an ad! Last time I used them which was last summer, the price was ?39.99 for a basic advert, plus ?7.99 if you wanted to post your weblink.

It was ?19.99 for 30 days where I am but now they've changed it to ?5.99 for 7 days.
Also I found out the time starts counting down from the moment you post the ad not the moment it is approved by the moderators. So if you post after 10pm you're going to lose 8 hours waiting for it to be approved!

I've just checked, in my area it's ?29.99 per month, and I'd want a website link to attempt to cut down the low quality enquiries, which brings it to almost ?38.
I can't see a 7 day option.

Finny said on the VS thread that they've only rolled out the 7 and 10 day option in certain areas.

I'm considering it but I'm just not sure. The option to change postcode is so very expensive. I wish we could just pay a fee when we wanted to change the postcode. I would rather pay 20 every time I did it than pay 60 for thirty days of being able to do so.
Anyway, for me to advertise for one month with daily update and be able to change postcodes for thirty days would be 80. But that doesn't include featuring and I'm not sure if it's worth advertising with featuring as it seems everyone features. Certainly the first couple of pages. Featuring is 60 for ten days. So if I were to be featured for a month, that would be 180. I suppose reposting isn't necessary if you're featured. Changing postcode/touring would ad another 60.... so that's 220 for a month. That is more than what I usually do on AW (local escorts, phone number, Available Today when I'm working). AW can be FREE for the days you're not working if you're not interested in advertising advance bookings. Most importantly, I don't pay actual money for AW as my private gallery takes care of that.
I'm going to have to really think about it. The sort of calls you get from VS are pretty annoying and since I find the phone to be my biggest source of work-related angst I am not sure if I can spend that much money to deal with that. On the other hand I know that AW isn't sufficient and I know VS gets a lot of users.

I had it on a free trial for a month they gave my ad all the bells and whistles but I ended up being bombarded by TW's and undesirables so I stopped it and didn't bother to take up the next free offer. I guess for some it works and for some like me its a waste of time.

I tried viva street after long time. I think I wasted my ?39....
I do advertise only on aw and just thought I could get more bookings if I do viva as well.
What I got - 0 actual bookings, some strange requests, some "send me postcode" , some drunkies on Sunday, and missed calls every night in 2am - 5am timescale.
It is just my experience. But now I am thinking Never again lol :D

I try to remember that the first little while being new anywhere is a nightmare. This includes the first time you tour in a new town and advertise on AW... wall-to-wall wankers for a day or two. I imagine you can ride it out on VS, as well. But it's a very expensive ride...

I rode it out in the same location for years the same TWs phoned on a recurrent basis, switched to slightly different location got a really good booking in the first month, then nothing but dross for subsequent 2 months.

It depends on your location. And not all options are bought in thirty day increments

Oh thanks, I just wanted a rough idea of what it might cost in any of the counties surrounding London, but not London itself. Like Kent or Essex.

In certain areas I found that had I not had Vivastreet I would have made no money.

In East Sussex it's ?160 per week if you have all the feature stuff. ?51-ish with just the highlighting and touring option.

Im in essex and if im off from my civvy job and got spare time i advertise on vivastreet and it boosts my bookings defo. Its 9.99 a week for basic ad xx
