I was disappointed when they put the prices up but for me it's been very worthwhile actually. I do get TW's from VivaStreet but less TW's than I do from AW.
The guys I see from Vivastreet are usually professionals on lunch break/self-employed. I have had to remind a few of them to pay before the 'action' commences though - quite a few seem to think the norm is to pay afterwards.
I put an ad on Pnet for a month and got nothing
Don't know why...Could be my photos weren't very good (working on this)
xx
I must admit I've had a few 'professionals' call from VS, unfortunately with them being busy all the time they often can do same-day only and the time they wanted to see me was already taken, or will text/email at short notice and by the time I've got the email (I've not managed to get into VS properly on the Blackberry and their notifactions can be delayed by hours sometimes) the opportunity has passed. My feeling is that they are running their own business where they are 'incharge' a lot and forget we are in business too so why aren't we available for them. That's not to put anyone down but simply how it comes across. Could be wrong.
On this subject always makes me smile when someone thinks explaining their job, profession, business(usually professionals) etc will mean I trust them or make them more serious/genuine than others. My experience in life and work is that I have met guys from all walks of life, accountants, solicitors, Drs, Nurses, handyman, shelf-fillers, farmers, binmen. I can quite honestly, confidently say that profession/job/standing in society tend not to have much bearing on whether a person is genuine, respectful or trustworthy. I've had just as much trouble from professionals as other lines of work in life, and met lots of nice guys from all sorts of backgrounds.
