All,  or at least, most of TWs and no-shows that I had came from Viva street, not to mention wankers. Had one or two legit clients only.
 Again, that is my experience.
Probably depends on which area youre operating in, your rates, etc.
I found it to be waste of time and money.

I got very few decent/genuine clients from Vivastreet when I advertised with them for a few months when in Scotland.  Vast majority were TWs/young NEDs/druggies/Sexters etc etc.  Its a bit like Friday Ad, you have to go through an awful lot of chaff to get the wheat!

I would say most who puruse Vivastreet are looking at the lower end of the spectrum for prices.  One guy upon hearing my prices (which really are not OTT) asked 'what are you a supermodel'!

I replied to this thread earlier saying that I found viva street a waste of time in Manchester. Then this week I had a trip to Birmingham so Decided to try viva street again.

Lots of calls and a few emails.  Not a single booking!

I had an ad on it for London, and definitely share the majority view that its a great way to waste money and time- lots of calls, and hardly any bookings. The couple of bookings I did have were from totally green guys... And if you charge much past ?100 it's definitely not the place, or so it seems!

I think if you are working in any big city your ad will get lost in the plethora of ads unless it is outstanding.

I agree though that guys who browse vivastreet are usually shocked at many of the prices.  Perhaps they just aren't used to other sites and prossies prices  :(

I live near two small cities and advertise on there all the time with success.

I would't be without it although ?60 a month is a lot to fork out but AW is too quiet for me these days on its own.

Vivastreet allow you to put pricing and web site details in your advert?  Are we talking about the same Viva street because it was basic information like this that could have made the advert worth putting up.

But like most ladies, if I'm paying that much, then differentiate yourself from the sites that charge much less or nothing at all, AND allow us to describe ourselves a little better.

I do remember, a few years ago, doing pretty well with it in London.  Then the prices rose at the same time that the moderators got stupid with the moderation.  For example, I'd do an advert upgrade, not touching the text or photos.  Then the advert that I'd just paid extra for would go off-line as it was back in moderation.  Then it would appear with text or photos missing that had been okay before the second moderation.  The second moderation only triggered by my fool-hardy decision to upgrade the advert.  I was paying more money to get my advert butchered.  It's like rather than there being an even set of rules for moderation, the person on night duty might get over-zealous and wield the axe!

The lesson I took from that was, leave well enough alone after the first moderation and don't even think of upgrading with an add-on. How not to incentivise a customer!

It's very weird because I've ad several booking from both places that I'm working from
in total since thurs I've had 7 bookings from viva st working in two different cities

I think it helps though that I ave my prices on it and my website as well

I find VivaStreet does make my phone ring, but primarily with twats. I have gotten bookings from it, and I guess enough to make it worthwhile.

They have apparently loosened their strict rules and we can now put a URL to our websites and be a little more explicit about what we do.

I think the reason it attracts idjits is that it's the first result on Google for searches like "Escorts in Manchester." The people looking are not the more knowledgeable sorts who are using AW or Punternet, etc.

As above, there's a detailed VS thread in Spamming with all the relevant information about their advertising rules plus customer service contacts. I suspect you're right about the Google ranking (and I don't use it as I don't have the patience) but whether letting folk include more info will help, only time will tell :).

I bought a separate PAYG phone, solely to use for Vivastreet.
I leave it on silent in a drawer and each night I have an Ad running, I send a template text to all the missed calls with my *website link.
They can then call me at my website number to arrange a booking.
Each month I will gain 1 or 2 genuine Clients that go on to become long-term regulars.

That's how I make Vivastreet work for me  :)

* The web-link and full info-including prices and rules of conduct etc- are also shown on my Ad ( this is all allowed now ), but you know what fellas are like when they see some tasty pics and a phone number.. :FF

This is what I do generally  but I do find it work well in some cities    Like birmingham . There is a trick with viva st to get cheap featured / reposting stuff that works brilliantly ESP in places like London where its 90 for featuring
Pm me if anyone wants to know how to get it for ?30'for 10 day

I get a lot of calls from vivastreet as soon as the advert goes up. Unfortunately nearly all timewaster but have had a couple okay

I treat Vivastreet in the same way as I've treated the Daily Sport in the past - a lot of idiots, a lot of "details please" calls and a lot of stupid texts (I had three texts over a week from the same number all asking if I'm interested in botox - ummm). The Daily Sport actually yielded some of my nicest clients when I hadn't lost the plot after hours of bollocks phone calls, and I've had lovely clients from Vivastreet. I still got calls from AW where they clearly thought "tits she's got big tits I like big tits" and somehow managed to bash their knuckles against the phone sufficiently well enough to call me so Vivastreet isn't really any different to me. I do think with Vivastreet calls you have to be a lot more quick on the ball with your TW radar, and I treat it as a meeting in the middle of my AW/website profile and DS advertising - my VS ad has my rates and name on it, so if they don't ask "hi is that X" and ask me what my rates are (clarification is fine, asking outright is not), they get binned. But I don't mind saying what services I do and don't provide as it doesn't allow me to say on there - I don't want a guy turning up expecting OWO as standard, CIM, A and whatnot when one is at a tight discretion (usually regulars only) and the others aren't provided. Plus I don't think its fair on a client to not know what he's getting either.
