Re ATM limit, I read elsewhere that folk have been able to take out about ?700 (GBP) in one go.. I THINK.. or thereabouts, I personally have never used it to take out that amount of cash (as I've never had that amount in there), I only have ever used it as a Plan B sort of thing, which has come in handy.
I also have a EU account and when I take money out of that via a (UK) ATM I can take out about ?600 (GBP) or so in one go (I assume because it is coming from an overseas account, it doesn't come under the ?300 per day allowance (or whatever it is, I think each UK bank differs slightly with the amount).
Also my EU a/c is partnered with Nat West & RBS and so when I take out money from it I use their ATMs, because there is NO fee to withdraw (RBS m/c's are outside all Tesco's with RBS on them!) -- also, I notice on the screen (& on the receipt if I get one) it always states at the ATM how much/the remainder cash I can take out that day - it will state something like you have a remaining balance of ?575 euro that can be withdrawn today (obv the amount they state I can take out depends on what I have in there).
But that is a Euro a/c.
Payoneer fees, yes $2 standard load plus Payoneer ATM withdrawal charge, plus the Bank's own ATM fee (it will usually tell you what it is BEFORE you proceed to withdraw).
I usually look at my Payoneer balance online before I go to the ATM (as there is a $1 dollar charge!) and its free online, I also do currency conversion beforehand so I know how much I can take out when I get there (remembering to account for any ATM fees).
Remember too that it will show you the amount that is in there in USD and not GBP, when I first got the card I made the mistake of trying to withdraw the amount the ATM was saying was in there, I wasn't vigilant enough to spot the $ sign so my transaction got Declined and I paid Decline fee, $1 lol - its all trial & error & meant to keep us on our toes!
Anyway, yes it costs a few pounds but the 'trick' is to try and take it all out in hit!
Hopefully AW is back to normal this week & it will be business as usual and the last week will quickly become a dim & distant memory & that this time next year week we will all be saying, remember that time when we couldn't get paid when AW processor went tits belly up!
