Hi everyone,

Do you use perfume during bookings ? If not, what do you use instead to smell nice ?  :)

Yes I do on the top of my neck in my hairline (obviously at the back), also I mix a little bit of scented cream (the same one as the perfume) into my normal body moisturiser  :).

I use a body spray type thing. I get compliments about it :)
I prefer it, because I don’t think it clings as much as perfume.

Usually scented bodylotion unless I know the punter or client is single, even then I may hold back until I am sure he is ok with perfume.

I wear perfume layered with a complementary scented body balm. Both are light in scent which I think is the important thing here, if you're going to wear perfume, make it light rather than something bolder and heady, or just stick to a body spray.

You can ask clients if they would like perfume or not. Some will appreciate this touch.

Not at all, not only am I mildly allergic to the stuff, it tends to cling to you (and can cling to them) but also I already smell nice, why use perfume?

I dont use anything scented because of smell transferring to my clients, I have one client that requests I wear perfume though (I'm always a bit nervous as he is married, and I'm sure his wife will smell it!)

Not usually. I'm normally straight out of the shower, and tend to use quite a fragranced body wash, sometimes supplemented with a matching cream/lotion.

I used to especially when meeting a new client. But one of my regulars said he could still smell my perfume on him hours later. Luckily he's single but I do have a lot of married clients.

I always wear perfume and spray it before every client i see. I like to smell nice. I only had 1 client once say can i not put perfume on for the booking which i did but previous perfume sprays probably were lingering around on my clothes etc.

If the concern is married guys i don't concern myself with that as i am not the one being deceitful and it's not my look out. They can shower before they leave to be sure.

I wear fragrance most days but will go without if they ask. I have designated escorting perfumes/shower gels/creams etc, it’s a bit like putting on a costume.

I am also into aromatherapy and will sometimes use an oil blend remedy roll-on on pulse points, or body lotion containing essential oils to lift mood and or energise. Might be a load of codswallop but I like it and seems to work! The scent is very, very subtle, low key.

I always forget to wear perfume. Personally I played it safe on the clients behalf and never wore any. When I mention it even to married clients they don't care. Some have even been enthusiastic for me wearing perfume. I've only had two clients ever ask me not to wear perfume.

I may start wearing perfume more often. It's an ambiance and people remember it and similar smells trigger memories. I guess it may all play into we can give them something they don't get anywhere else.
