My local clinic is not ideal , many issues but one is I would like proof text etc that all is fine , also not having to wait 1/2 weeks and having to phone up would be good .
Am often working in London and was looking at weekend clinics there , dean street express ( but open to suggestions) I know the London clinics are under pressure with so many people after few appointments. Am I able to use these clinics or are they going to say I should be using a local clinic? ?
Also with Dean street is it all results you get back the same day and also what is there results text like eg does it show your name and date test was done ? Also do they do throat swabs as routine or do you have to tell them your a sex worker as you do at my local , I don?t mind doing this as long as you don?t have to announce at reception or anything like that . Also googling has gave me mixed answers do many of yoj get tested when on your period and is this likely to be an issue ?
Just adding I have no symptoms just routine testing

I've been trying for 2 days to book an appointment at Dean St. They release the following day's slots online at 7pm each day. Yesterday they were all gone when I logged on at 7.05pm :(

Have you been there before VC ? Would I be seen not being from London , In the unlikely event I get an appointment :o

I haven't been there before but a lot of sex workers I know give a fake name and address anyway. All the clinic needs is a working phone number for you so they can send your results.

HM, have you tried the sexual health clinic near the station in Hammersmith? They have a walk in service as well as a sex worker clinic (I think it's called Indigo although I don't have the details handy) and I think the walk in is most weekdays.
I'll see if I can find the times when I get in and edit it in :).

Thanks for the info ladies .I managed to get an appointment, time slots went in literally 1 minute .
Had more time for research and nhs are happy for you to use any clinic across the country.
For anyone nervous about attending a clinic or with questions there are quite a few you tube videos showing you Dean street express in detail .

went today , was really impressed, if all sex clinics were like this I?m sure std rates would be massively reduced .couldnt be any more different to my local clinic .
Few issues with the check in machine clearly my sweaty nervous fingers messing it up ;D but receptionist very helpful . Was originally given just one swab for vaginal use , I questioned the man and he said to speak to the nurse when had my blood test .
The male nurse I saw was fantastic , normally I request to see a female but this guy was great . Told him was a sex worker he sorted out for me to do anal & throat swabs and to get a gold card which means for future visits I don?t need an appointment to be seen . I was in there less then 15 minutes!
He explained their machine had been playing up so gonorrhoea & chlamydia results would take a few days but got my syphillis and hiv results through in 3 hours .

I had no problems getting to see somebody in the clinic in Paddington though forget the street.
