For male clients:

If you want to be busy you have to work all hours. If you can offer incall in zone one, lunchtimes and the early evening can be popular for the quickie market during the break or on the way home. Otherwise, it's through the night, particularly when clubs close and they've failed to score, and being able to get to outcalls as quickly as possible.

Gayswap is only if you can be bothered because although AW is set up for female workers - male clients, it has many more users and, depending on what you are offering, more will be interested than ever go to Gayswap.

Gaydar is the big one, but it is not cheap to be allowed to cruise the relevant board as an escort and there is lots of competition. How are you going to stand out?

Boyz is now almost pointless as they decided they didn't want the ad money. QX still does and remains popular.

You can also hustle in bars, clubs and saunas. The sexier the venue, the greater the expectation that sex is free, so be prepared for some rude reactions in saunas in particular.

For MF couples:

There are more single men willing to do MMF than MF couples looking. How are you going to stand out?

For female clients:

Even more so.

Gay Times certainly used to be quite expensive, because they took the view that they had lots of readers across the country. For some advertisers, that's what they want. For others, it's not - you want local ones.

Talking about local, I'd be surprised if no-one's using Grindr.
