Going back to escorting after a break.

I work in civvy Street part time and I'm also planning to escort part time. I will be registering self employed under the lovely neutral term of therapist 🤣

I am currently claiming UC and I just want to close my claim, but it won't let me!!! It wants to me give an explanation and to inform them regarding my earnings. I really don't want to have to say I'm registering self employed in case they ask for evidence of my new business (Can't really send them to AW!)

I've already got a grand I want to bank. I'm scared of depositing it and getting done for benefit fraud!

I just want to be free of the job centre but they're determined to hang onto me!

You need to show plausible proof.  Get a website page or free Facebook business page.

I stopped claiming UC about 3 years ago, all they wanted was me to send them Earnings each month for 3 months. But this was around COVID time so things might have changed by then

To end a claim without questions all you need to say is your moving abroad and you are then automatically not entitled to any benefit it will stop the claim straight away.
And you don’t need to show proof it’s got nothing to do with them. It’s your choice to end the claim but that’s the easy way.

Then just register as a sole trader with HMRC when you start work.

All you need to do ( the quick and easy way )

Tell them you’re moving abroad you will automatically not be entitled to UC and it will stop claim.
You don’t need to show them proof you’re moving abroad.

Then once you start working register with HMRC self employed ect.
