At the end of March 2019 while I was on holiday I had a call on my personal mobile number from a guy looking for a booking,  it freaked me out as I didn't have that number displayed anywhere and I didn't have a number on my aw profile, aw was my only advertising platform so I went on and made sure my number which was in hidden information was deleted and wasn't able to be viewed accidentally.

later that day I got a second call from another guy looking for a booking, at that point I almost had a meltdown, on chatting to him he kept saying he got  my number from my profile on adultzone, I argued I didn't have one there and that I had never even heard of the site, he argued I did, on googling the site I discovered he was absolutely right and all of my details were there and I was automatically logged in, including my personal phone number, email address etc but no pictures.

Nowhere could find a way to delete my profile and I trawled every inch of that site for hours, all I could do was delete as much information as I could from the profile and lock it down to paid members only, so I then emailed the site owner and asked how my details had got on the site and to ask her to delete my profile. I had no reply, I emailed 3 more times with increasing desperation over a 3 week period but still got no reply.

I then found a different address through a submission form and emailed via there, including copies of all the correspondence I had previously sent and explained that if I didn't get a reply and a resolution that was to my satisfaction I would be contacting the police and taking a case forward.

I had a single line response the following day saying 'We don't harvest details from other sites you must have signed up, I've deleted your profile ' Sharon

Place is an utter shambles and  I would never use it because of what I went through,  to this day I don't know how that information got on there but she was one of the most unhelpful and rude people I've had the misfortune of dealing with 

That is awful Miss Wolf, my toes were curling as I read it, how scary is that. Do you think someone did that out of spite? Although surely when signing up you'd have to confirm your email address.

Sharon has always been polite to me but I think she's taken on more than she can handle and she's out of order not giving us workers any notice re new fees.

MissWolf, AW needed your personal number to complete your profile?

Yes when I made my advert in 2015 they wouldn't let me complete it without a contact number, it could stay hidden but they required one, I don't know if they still do, at the time I only had my personal number so had to use that but chose not to display it.

Randomly when all this kicked off I deleted it without issue, I've now got a dedicated work number but still don't display it as I'm only part time and screen before I give it out.

Why would AW sell details to Adultzone though as it's competition for them, seems stupid to me but if there is no other explanation and only AW had the number.
