I am currently renting two properties, one a work flat and one my home.
I would like to move to a different work flat and would like to say my work flat is my current address (it would make more sense when getting a landlord reference and if I dealt with the same letting agent again).
I know that when applying for tenancy I need to prove my address, so I now have bank statements going to the work address and will be changing the address on my driving licence. Now, on the electoral roll I am registered on my home address, just as everything else (tax, dvla, insurance, bank accounts).
I'm starting to babble a bit, so I will ask this: are letting agents checks thorough enough to notice this?
Also, changing the address on my driving licence feels like I'm doing something illegal, even though it is a property I rent. Is there any chance I might get into trouble for doing that?
