Transgender escort-to-be... but where are the agencies?
« on: 24 July 2011, 12:34:54 am »
Hi everyone, and big apologies if this has been covered before. I've read quite a few threads, but not seen it yet.

I am a young transgender female, not yet technically a transsexual, who is looking to get into escorting.

I can't seem to find a single agency on the web that looks decent and works with trans people (except premiermodelsuk.com, who are taking their time getting back to me after saying they soon would, and have a really dodgy and broken application form thing).

Does anybody know of a good agency, or where I can go to look for one beyond google?

Thank you.

Cat

Your best bet would probably be go independent, not alot of agencies cater for niche markets.
There are a few ts girls on saafe who I'm sure would be more than happy to help you x

Thanks Dionne.

I guess I'm a bit nervous about going independent straight away, and I figured it might be best to learn the ropes through an agency.

Though the more I read about agencies on saafe, maybe that's not the best idea anyway  :)

If any trans girls on here are reading this, please let me know if you have any tips, though...

Thankies.

Yep, there are not (m)any and if you can't find such an agency, how are any potential clients to do so?

Part of the problem is that if you are going to break the law as an agency owner (and risk up to seven years / having all your earnings taken away) then you might as well go where the biggest demand is.

But if you have a profile on AW, you'll soon get people wanting a cut of your money in exchange for joining their 'agency' / group of profiles :)
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Hi Cat.
A friend of mine is a transsexual female escort and UK porn star. You would probably know her name.
We first met and chatted in a club, years ago and she mentioned then that she was with an agency.
She is an Indy now, and has been for some years.

She dropped round today and I asked her on your behalf.
She started escorting with an agency for a few reasons.
Firstly, she was twenty, with no experience of the business.
The agency owner was a friend who invited her to work with them.
They provided a driver so there was more safety.
The down side was that understandably she earned a lot less money
while learning the ropes before eventually going Indy.

She found it a good start to the business, a bit like an apprenticeship.

As to where you go?
Well apparently very few agencies have actual trans escorts.
But quite a few have trans escorts as an option on their site, but with no actual escorts listed!
My friend and her partner suggest you look up every agency in your area,
look for the ones who have a trans escorts section even if it's empty
and contact them.

Also you could try contacting other agencies in your area and offer them the opportunity to work with you.

I would suggest though that you spend a good amount of time on SAAFE,
The main page has a lot of useful info about starting out and about agencies.
Also use the search feature on this forum,
to read up tons about agencies, both good and bad.
This is so you will be more clued up,
less open to exploitation,
and mindful of not really putting your trust in your safety, wholly with an agency.
Getting a security buddy is a good idea as well.

Also take a peak at "Spamming in the lions den" sub forum here.
You will get a good idea about agencies in general.

Oh, a lot of transvestites call themselves transsexuals
as we command a higher premium.  So don't get too hung up on it.
The majority of clients don't know the difference anyway.

And yes most trans are Indy.
But you can try agencies as a start, it may well work for you.

Thanks xw5, that's a good point about agencies.

And Jodie, thank you so much for talking to your friend for me. I'm looking primarily in the London area, but I've only found a couple of agencies that look decent, and they've not been too good getting back to me. I'll definitely get back to looking though... it sounds like it can be pretty helpful after all.

Thanks everyone xx

If Hertfordshire is any use, Bubbles was the agency name.
Remember things change and it may now be different people or even a different company.

Trust no one.

Good luck. x

If u are a genuine TS there are a lot of agencies. I'm planning to become an escort very soon. Does someone know what are the effects if I decide to do  a photosession with the agency? DO they provide a nice standard of that? And the other thing is that I'm planning to move to London. Should I live in the same place what doing incalls? and where can I find other ts escorts who can share a flat with me? I'M 20, nice and friendly ts, without any surgery done yet. Many thanks

Hey Cat,

I went indy straight away and kinda learnt the ropes as I went along. I spent a lot of time reading through the forum here and the front page and that has helped me immensely. The info is applicable to everyone.

Good luck and take care!

Hi there, I am independent escort at the moment only able to do outcalls in the Hertfordshire area, I tend to find hotels arent too bad but make you get the bookings. The only problem I seem to find is a lot of men want to ring you for a half hour quickie and that just is not my type. Also I have tended to notice they want to pop round in the hour. We take just as long to get ready and I certainly dont get up at eight in the morning and put my make up on.

I was thinking of an agency myself but want to know if I can remain Independent as well. I always look my best and trying to resolve the problems of being a transvestite escort (and yes I class myself as transvestite as at the moment I haven't moved forward)
I will be getting IPL treatment to remove facial hair and in the new year looking to take hormones to promote breast growth but not so I cannot disguise them at work, I currently need my other job until escorting fully takes off.

I never tell clients I am a TS, I am upfront and honest, I even let some know the difference, without being rude on here, One guy rings up and says can he cum over my tits, when I said I dont have any he said whats the point of you being one then.

I am looking for feedback and would really appreciate help or even criticism in the nicest sense.

Rebecca
