Sounds a familiar tale  Beware of cheap imitations though, the REAL Hitachi Magic Wand is no longer available in the UK, or at least wasn't last time I looked, and the rip off versions aren't anywhere near as good! There was a seller on eBay who was importing them not long ago from whom I bought my last one from.
